  1. Start Rico since he's the hot hand. Play Chuba when he gets tired. Keep playing the guy who gets hot. Rinse and repeat week to week starting out with the guy who played best last week.
  2. I didn't give a damn about any of his workout numbers. I saw what he did at Auburn against SEC OLs and it looked exactly like that. My only concern was that I doubted he'd fall to us.
  3. All I ask is to make the calls. If there's nothing available for the low price we should be willing to spend then it is what it is. But do the due diligence.
  4. Excellent young defensive building blocks. Brown is our best DT since Jenkins and Horn our best CB since Norman. Very happy with how these two turned out. We got exactly what we were hoping for.
  5. No telling with Tepper. He's had a very quick trigger finger at times and shown frustrating levels of patience at other times.
  6. I don't think so at all. This is not at all what he was running in TB. This is just what he has to run with Bryce at QB.
  7. Yeah, I'm just afraid that if we take a slide as the schedule gets tougher and the offense continues to look anemic that it's going to lead to another Tepper reset and nothing about that should excite Panthers fans who've already seen several of those fail spectacularly. I'm all for trying to give this current guy his best shot before we see another one of those.
  8. What does Tua offer at this point that Bryce doesn't? Tua looked like the best version of Bryce at his best but at this point the guy needs to retire and protect what non-CTE'd brain cells he has left.
  9. I think it's more about being able to fairly evaluate what we have. I'm sold on T-Mac. XL looked better than he ever has before yesterday which is promising. Coker is coming back and could round out a decent starting WR corps. It's not about winning games for me as much as it is giving Canales' offense it's best opportunity to shine and being able to better evaluate our young receivers. It's just tough to really see what we might or might not have when we're having to do this dink and dunk bullshit because we have a QB who can't effectively throw the ball down the field consistently.
  10. How much of it is due to Bryce forcing you into a very conservative offensive gameplan though? Their TD:INT ratios are virtually identical. If you have Bryce slinging it around like Jameis you probably end up with similar turnover numbers.
  11. So is Bryce. Jameis just has a much different skill set that could potentially allow us to see more of the playbook and get a better idea of what we might potentially have on offense.
  12. I'd call them mediocre. Probably the best offense in the league and the worst defense in the league. I mean, we all saw the Jets' offense yesterday and the Jets put up 22 on the Cowboys. Hell, we saw OUR offense yesterday and we put up 30 on the 'boys. LOL
  13. Yeah, look at how frustrated AJ Brown was in Philly not getting the ball and they're 5-2 and have been one of the best teams in the league in recent years. Even if you're winning at some point if you feel like you're not being put in position to be your best individually then frustration is gonna start to show.
  14. People point at Howell's 21 INTs with Washington and says he sucks and is incredibly turnover prone but ignore that 11 of them came when Washington was down multiple scores and in YOLO comeback mode.
  15. It won't lead to wins but it'll give our WRs a chance to do something other than 10 yard routes.
  16. We have an outside chance of being competitive against the Bills simply because our strength is running the ball and they're abysmal at defending the run. We're gonna have to grind it out and try to keep Josh Allen on the sidelines though. We're still struggling to rush the passer and Allen will probably eat. Catching the Bills coming off of a bye week following a disappointing loss is a pretty shitty draw though. We'll see...
  17. Like a winter storm in NC. Just warm enough not to snow but still cold enough to be miserable and probably cause an icy mess.
  18. And what would you call what you're doing? LOL
  19. Honestly, this is a good thing. I'm glad we're being forced to put Dalton out there and honestly if Bryce is going to miss multiple weeks we might feel pressured to shop for a late round pick type of trade to shore up the backup QB position. Sometimes you have to get forced into doing the thing you should've already been trying to do.
  20. There's two games left before the trade deadline. We needed this. We need to see Dalton out there while there's still time left on the clock. I say this knowing full well that the Bryce stans are gonna be insufferable if (when) we lose. LOL
  21. Yep. Like I said earlier, it would've been the comparatively far less painful mistake to move on from. Honestly, minus the insane investment made we would've already moved on from Bryce by now. We're stuck in a sunk cost fallacy quagmire at the moment.
  22. I'm fine with putting Dalton out there and seeing how it goes. That's why I'm hoping Bryce is gonna miss this week. We still have time. There's two games to go before the trade deadline so let's see what the rusty old Red Rifle has left.
  23. Agreed. I don't think Stroud would've proven to be worth the cost of the move but honestly when you make that move anything short of legit MVP caliber is a disappointing outcome.
