Criticizing Horn today is plenty fair. But trying to use it as a way to deflect away from Bryce being putrid ass once again is sad.

Hell, I'm begging for the bare minimum. I honestly don't think Bryce meets that. Once we give up on him I honestly don't see him making it even as a long-term backup. He's just not an NFL roster caliber QB.

If 17 points by the opposition feels like an insurmountable task to overcome, well... Yeah, Horn has had a rough day but everyone has some rough days in the NFL and he's typically really good. Virtually all of Bryce's days are rough. That's the difference.

It just frustrated me because leading up to the draft I was pointing out all the flaws. Not just the lack of physical tools but why he wouldn't translate stylistically. It was all so painfully obvious. I've never seen the entire football world get so horribly duped by a prospect.

Yeah, the one thing the NFL is usually good at is not wasting premium draft picks on guys who lack the physical tools. They'll role the dice on raw prospects oozing talent but the guys who clearly lack the tools usually plummet. Bryce is the type of guy who usually goes in the mid to late rounds because it's obvious he didn't have the physical tools to translate his college success to the NFL.

On the field, I think Jamarcus was probably an even bigger bust but when you factor in the trade Bryce is honestly the biggest draft bust of all time.

As they should. The backup QB for 1-8 team is absolutely playing circles around the guy we mortgaged the franchise for. The fanbase is tired of this bullshit of pretending that Bryce is an NFL QB. Unfortunately, now we know that Dalton is completely washed at this point and we have no other option on the roster. There should be a dozen QB tryouts at BOA this coming week. We need to be kicking every tire that out there. We should've tried to make a move at the trade deadline but now that ship has sailed.

Yeah, in just not sure if Tepper was ready to swallow that bitter pill yet. Morgan and Canales should've sold him on the idea of upgrading the backup QB spot and then invited him to practice to see for himself how much more talent this guy shows them Bryce. I'd have to think that if that had happened Tepper would have to rubber-stamp a change at half today.

Anybody. Just anybody. It's criminal we didn't try to make a move for somebody's backup at the trade deadline. This is a good team with a competent QB. Just someone NFL caliber.

Jonathan Taylor is Indy's Rico. It's not a Daniel Jones resurgence, it's a RB playing out of his mind and carrying the offense.

It's a bad investment in a passing league if you don't have the answer at QB on the roster. Hence why the trade signals that they absolutely believe that they do.
