I hope Belichick has told Kitchens no more empty backfields unless it's an obvious passing situation.
-
Beautiful throw. Still pissed about the horse poo DPI that kept that drive alive.
-
That is a trash fuging call.
-
That's what I thought at first but I think he was dead to rights. Kid looked like he let up. I think he heard the whistle.
-
Why all those empty backfields after running the ball at will in the first drive? That makes no sense whatsoever.
-
6'9" 339 pound freshman? Where'd we find that???
-
A stop??? A defensive STOP??!!!
-
South Alabama. Bill seems to really want a dual threat at the college level.
-
Ran it down their throats at will, one play action deep ball for about 40. That was the only throw. A QB keeper on a read option for no gain, maybe a small loss was the only play that wasn't a success.

Scoring hasn't been our issue in recent years. Let's see if that D has gotten any better.

Saints just released a good safety

Damn autocorrect. How it makes the leap from "Hankton" to "Hamilton" I have no idea -
Facts. I think virtually everyone has accepted this and is trying to cut their deals behind the scenes. NC legislature will probably try to tie NCSU to UNC because they pretty much know that NCSU will basically become NCSU if they don't. Their only hope of keeping NCSU relevant is to try to tie them to UNC.

Possibly one of the worst QB recruiting classes ever if it keeps trending the current direction. I know people are saying it's too early to write off Arch, but man... the fundamental issues with his passing technique are BAD. Shocking for a guy with that last name. Tough to see him being a top college QB much less a top NFL prospect with a mechanics overhaul. UNC landed a 4* in that class. He's since transferred to Coastal Carolina where he's a backup on a team that got blown out 48-7 by UVA.

This is akin to calling Karl Hankton a good WR. He's a special teamer pushing 30. They probably found someone younger and cheaper who can do it and maybe actually play safety too. -
The reason is that it was the only viable option for both parties. The SEC and Big10 weren't an option for those schools and any schools those conferences would want weren't an option for the ACC. Finnebaum is already saying that UNC to the SEC is gonna happen, it's now just a question of who's coming along with them and when those schools will pull the plug on the buyout. Buyout is $165M currently but drops by $18M per year until bottoming it at $75M in '30-'31. That's pretty much the ACC's expiration date and it may not last that long.

Absolutely gonna happen.

The ACC is probably going to cease to exist within the next 3-4 years. Enjoy the final years.

I'll be honest, in recent years I usually have the Panthers game on in the background while I'm primarily watching a more meaningful game.
-
I want to see us play well in games that matter. Not meaningless games in throwaway seasons that are already lost. A lot of people are clinging to to us being competitive against the Eagles and Chiefs late in the season but realistically both teams were probably looking past us and just coasting that week. Let's see us be competitive against a good team before we're all talking draft.

Best Way to Watch Games this Season??
LinvilleGorge replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Probably with liquor, not sure beer is up for the job. -
He played a lot better as the game went on but Miami also started softening up on D thinking they had it won. He was awful through the first three quarters.
-
Aaaaaaand... ND immediately throws an INT. Tried to run that same screen they've ran a dozen times tonight and Miami had two defenders sitting on it and he threw it anyway.
-
Not so fast. ND scored to cut it to 7 and Miami just went three and out.
