  1. I hate cryptic tweets like that. Either spell it out or just STFU.
  2. No. If Bryce continues to suck it'll be because we ruined him. Under no circumstances were they just flat out wrong
  3. All those same analysts and talking heads completely ignored all the glaring red flags about Bryce leading up to the draft. Their egos won't allow them to admit that they were just flat out wildly wrong.
  4. I have a bunion on my right foot I'm going to have to have surgically treated because a dumbass doctor thought I had gout 8 years ago. I told her that I REALLY don't think it's gout because it would be a massive coincidence to develop a novel gout attack that precisely coincided with building a patio and lugging literally ton of material up and down steps for several days on end. I'm very sure this is some type of overuse injury I'm just trying to figure out exactly what and how I need to address it. She remained convinced it was actually gout so I just said fug it and limped around for several weeks until it finally got to the point I could pretty much function normally though it stayed painful for over a year. It's my own dumbass fault for not getting a second opinion from an actual podiatrist but it is what it is. At the very least I should've just gone and gotten myself a walking boot and worn it until the worst of the pain subsided. You have to advocate for yourself and your healthcare.
  5. Josh Rosen had prototypical size and physical talent. He was just a complete cocky asshole who thought this whole NFL QB thing was gonna be easy because he was just so damn good.
  6. Good. I hope he sours hard enough and becomes so toxic we're forced to trade him for whatever we can get or just outright release him.
  7. This. This is so different than a young QB going through some rough spots or being inconsistent while showing some flashes. Bryce has consistently been terrible and just flat out looks like he doesn't belong.
  8. The Panthers fan in me says The Sam Howell fan in me says
  9. When Tepper is ready to move on he usually turns the page pretty hard. It honestly wouldn't shock me to see Bryce traded for anything we can get.
  10. You'll never see outright proof but there's a mountain of anecdotal evidence.
  11. I hate to tell you, but I think Tepper is basically our GM when it comes to the key decisions
  12. Probably the most physically limited QB I can ever recall being drafted in the 1st and probably even 2nd or 3rd rounds if I'm being honest. Forget #1 overall, forget 1st round. I honestly can't recall another QB with every physical red flag a QB can possibly have getting drafted even moderately highly. He's basically Stetson Bennett with a weaker arm.
  13. Pretty much looked exactly like his INT from this Sunday. When he "throws with anticipation" this is usually the result. He's not reading the coverage correctly and he doesn't have the arm strength to squeeze the ball into tight spots to begin with. Combine the two and it's an abrupt change of possession.
  14. Bryce was a disaster who looked physically and mentally overwhelmed at the NFL level right out of the gate. It wasn't like he showed promise early on.
  15. Anyone with eyes could see that Bryce wasn't it and I honestly think the seeming commitment to Bryce from Tepper combined with a seasoned coach getting fired mid-season largely because of the ineffectiveness of Bryce severely limited our candidate pool. The job was likely viewed as a career suicide mission by most.
  16. The problem is David Tepper. I'm completely completely convinced he's making the key football decisions. He runs the Panthers like Madden franchise mode toggling on and off the features he wants the AI (his actual football front office in this case) to handle while he handles the parts of the business he thinks is fun. High draft picks, key free agent signings, key re-signing, big trade deals, etc. That's where he probably steps in and makes the calls then he lets the football people deal with the day to day stuff of low low level FA signings, day three of the draft, low level afterthought trades, etc. I just can't be convinced that actual professional football people keep making such consistently awful decisions on their own accord.
  17. It actually got talked about a decent amount here. I mean, it just doesn't matter. He doesn't have the physical talent. No amount of work he can put in is changing it.
  18. Actual replay of the Eagles trying to finish that game
  19. That's a potential season derailing loss. I mean, they REALLY blew it. From Barkley dropping the game sealing pass to the D just being an absolute matador down the field to give up the winning score. Wow.
  20. That's as sorry if a clutch situation defensive outing as you'll see. Wow.
  21. The Eagles' front seven is trash. They can't rush the passer and they can't stop the run. Do they have a bunch of guys hurt or something? I thought basically their entire D was UGA studs.
  22. That injury has turned him into Bryce Young. He just cannot make the throws.
  23. The Falcons better start spying Hurts and playing contain on the edges. Dude isn't even going through his reads because he doesn't need to. Running lanes for him everywhere. It's like they didn't even prepare for a running QB.
