I wonder if those people realize that Bryce is 10-25 as a starter? He's 4-3 this year but in two of those we had Rico running for 200 yards, the other one he threw for 121 yards while Penix had an absolute meltdown and then the fourth he had a legit good game against the Cowboys who currently have the second worst defense in the NFL.

I hate to break it to prospects but if you're looking at being a high 1st round pick you're going to a poo team.

3rd or 4th is too high but 6th? Wouldn't mind it and that's about where I expect him to go.

That's what's always going to be reported. That's always the message. Just like every player who has ever been drafted was the BPA on that team's board. It's not like they're ever going to admit that there was any disagreement in the draft room or that they panicked and reached based on need.

Except an NFL team has an owner and the owner is essentially the king. Anything the king wants the king will get. Ultimately he's the one writing the checks and he has final say over anything he wants final say on.

Yeah, the forum is honestly a dying platform in general. Most have been gobbled up (and basically killed) by Vertical Scope. The rest have been hurt bad by the rise of social media and reddit becoming the "catch all" with subreddits for everything under the sun. It is what it is. I still like the Huddle and I think it has enough users to keep conversation going and fresh but not so many that it feels like chaos.

I think he either wasn't serious or Zod just didn't think he was serious. Which yeah, it would be hard to take anyone seriously if they were talking about spending mid-six figures on this site.

Having gone through Helene in western NC, I can't even begin to imagine what they're about to go through. They're talking about western NC Helene type rainfall amounts and flooding and then add in class 5 hurricane winds on top of that. Seems like that island is gonna get razed to the ground because during Helene we really didn't have that bad of wind until near the end of the storm and even then it wasn't nothing crazy. Basically just a run of the mill windy day type of wind and still yet trees were going down all over the place. Sounded like a warzone outside from all the trees falling because the ground was so saturated. They're about to go through pure hell and my heart goes out to them. All the people talking about how the whole island should've been evacuated are dumbasses who can't even begin to grasp the logistics of evacuating and island of 3 million people.

Not sure if we'd be slam dunk playoff bound but we'd contend for a spot. We still have serious defensive issues when we play real offenses.

If the Eagles and Chiefs play it's gonna be interesting to see how the refs handle that because they sure do carry both of them more often than not. Yesterday's Eagles game was a real doozy.

Basically he's said that he built this place and thinks back fondly on that and hopes that maybe he'll be reinvigorated if the Panthers ever find a way to overcome Tepper and field a winning team. He's not unwilling to sell, he just admits it would take a number substantially bigger than anyone should rightly consider to get him to sign the papers.

I actually think we've built a decent situation for a QB to step into while trying to build around Bryce. We have a good OL, a good running game, and we have some talent at receiver. The very obvious thing holding back this offense is the lack of ability at the most important spot (and Canales not riding Rico).

The primary fixture of the Tepper era has been referring to the stupidest rationale possible as the "master plan".

I just don't know if Tepper is ready to swallow that bitter pill yet and unfortunately watching guys like Darnold and Baker bounce back elsewhere and now Daniel Jones too could be giving him the false impression that we still need to keep building around Bryce and not give up yet ignoring the reality that those other guys have a lot more talent than Bryce.

You gotta try. You absolutely cannot understand any circumstances go into next year with Bryce penciled in as the unquestioned starter. You have to at least bring in a veteran to legitimately compete. This clown show of pretending that Bryce is our franchise QB has to stop.
