Edey is absolutely dominating. I thought Clingan would provide more resistance than this. Worthy back to back NPOY.

"Falling" for him would be not going top 10. He ain't coming anywhere close to #33

Hoping for a good game tonight. I do think the best two teams in the field made it to the big game which is a rarity. Kinda feels like UNC's '05 championship where they faced off against Illinois. It was very clear they were the two best teams that year and I think UConn and Purdue are pretty clearly the two best this year.

He's about halfway in between. Faster than Mingo but definitely not as fast as DK. -

Mock drafters see his measurables, check last year's stats, and just assume he's a really good prospect. I just think he has a lot of questions marks and isn't a good fit stylistically for what Bryce needs anyway. Bummed to hear that McConkey seems highly sought after. I agree that he's the best fit for us and Bryce. I also really like Polk and he might be a lot more realistic. Starting to seem like a long shot that McConkey will be an option for us. -
You're not understanding what I'm saying. Those guys were already high level NBA prospects before they ever stepped foot in Lexington (or Durham). They just weren't draft eligible so they had to play a year of college ball. That year of college ball did nothing for their draft prospects. They were already considered elite prospects. They would've been drafted at pretty much the same spot straight out of HS. Let's be real, you're not doing much development in one year of college basketball. Cal didn't do poo for them. He just took advantage of a system that required those kids to play outside of the NBA for a year post-HS.
-
Calipari hasn't been "producing" poo in terms of NBA talent. They just can't go straight to the draft out of HS so they have to stop in Lexington or Durham for a cup of coffee first.

Definitely didn't see that one coming.

another foul on a good block out?

Feels like watching UConn. Every time you think the other team is gonna make a game of it they just step on the gas again.

And that was one she would've been justified to bitch about. She was just boxing out.

Alabama is really athletic too though. Iowa can just shoot. That's it.
-
SC might end up winning by 20. Iowa has gone ice cold and the only way they can compete is to shoot at a much higher percentage because SC is just flat out better at everything else.

I can't see Iowa having a chance unless they absolutely catch fire.
-
Now this SC chick is trying to take the whiner crown
-
Clark is a helluva offensive player but she looks like a significant defensive liability.
-
Clark acts like a dookie. Constantly whining to the refs.
-
Iowa might get blown out.
-
Caitlin Clark loafs back on D a lot.
-
South Carolina is a lot bigger and a lot more athletic.

I do think the two best teams are facing off for the title. Kinda feels like '05 with UNC vs. Illinois though I honestly think both of those teams were better. But I do think UConn is 10-12 points better than Purdue. I think they're better everywhere.

Is this the return of the old school "5"? The two teams in the title game are driven by old school 5s. These guys aren't highly sought after by the NBA anymore but they can dominate college ball. That's like the best case scenario if you're a college program. We can throw NIL money at you and the NBA isn't beating down your door. Give me all the old school bigs and undersized shooters I can get.
