  1. No one would be overly concerned about the turnovers and the losses if he was also going out there and throwing for 300 yards and we were putting up points. Okay, cool. Bryce is showing he can do it, now he just needs to keep developing and learn how to better manage the game and cut down on the turnovers. Again, typical young QB stuff that lots of future greats have worked through early in their careers. But y'all, this looks like Teddy Bridgewater.
  2. You hit on one of the big concerns for me. Bryce is committing awful turnovers while also playing very conservatively overall. It'd be one thing if he was turning the ball over doing typical rookie stuff. Forcing the ball downfield, trying to fit the ball in between three defenders, etc. That stuff happens with young QBs. But he's turning it over a lot while being a checkdown king. Oof.
  3. The reality is that Bryce looked just like this during the preseason and lots of folks nervously laughed it off and lectured about how serious fans know that preseason doesn't matter and how much better Bryce and the team would look during the regular season with actual game planning. Now harsh reality is sinking in.
  4. Oh, don't get me wrong, Tepper is THE problem. But moves like drafting Bryce Young and hiring the people who did it are why he's the problem.
  5. Be honest. Right now Bryce looks like a future sports trivia question answer. "Who was the QB drafted #1 overall over CJ Stroud after the Panthers traded two 1sts, two 2nds, and DJ Moore to get the pick?" *everyone nervously chuckles and groans and shakes their head feeling the weight of the cringe*
  6. If Stroud ends up being great and Bryce busts, yeah... this pick and trade up will be a part of sports cautionary tale banter for a loooooooong time.
  7. I thinks this is the "bargaining and anger" step of the grieving process. Bryce looks like a bust, y'all.
  8. Watch that two point conversion and ask yourself if Bryce Young could ever make that throw in a million years. Arm strength isn't just throwing the ball deep.
  9. Hell, at some point we have to be honest and ask ourselves if continuing to play him is actually helping him right now. He's going backwards.
  10. Oof. That Bills fumble might have ended their hopes tonight. Dude got greedy trying for the highlight reel couple of extra yards and paid dearly for it.
  11. 5 of the Dolphins 8 remaining games are against teams with losing records. But their last three are against the teams with winning records. They have a chance over the next five weeks to set themselves up nicely but the schedule is setup for them to potentially back into the playoffs on a downward slide. We'll see.
  12. It was so obvious. I really don't know how the NFL missed on that one so badly.
  13. Yeah, Miami hasn't beat a good team yet and they have really cooled off offensively. They might have peaked too early. They looked like world beaters in September but you don't win anything that matters in September.
  14. That change in illegal contact changed everything. It made some careers and it ended some careers. Ricky Manning Jr. was basically turned into a CB that wasn't NFL roster caliber overnight.
  15. I wanted Richardson but I had them Richardson, Stroud, Young. But I said at the time that I could be swayed hard by their interviews. I just had extremely serious concerns about Bryce's physical tools.
  16. Rookie to rookie just isn't an apples to apples comparison at all given the different eras though. This is a MUCH more pass happy league with the rules to match than the one Drew Brees was drafted into.
  17. We Panthers fans really can't be critical of someone else's elite QB right now. It's just a really tone-deaf look.
  18. Nearly yards in 8 seasons. 4 1000+ yard seasons. 3 Pro Bowls. And keep in mind, passing/receiving stats weren't near back then what they are these days. His career was cut short at 29 due to a bad ankle.
  19. Remember that underthrown bomb. If Burrow hits that one it's a TD and the Bengals are running away with this one. Might be the break the Bills needed.
  20. He single handedly wins them some games too.
  21. Drew Brees' career was likely made by the change in illegal contact in 2004. He blew up right after that change. Not being able to rough up receivers and being forced to let them run free allowed his best traits to shine.
  22. Allen throws some picks but he also makes some throws like THAT. To make those types of throws you gotta be willing to gamble with throwing a pick.
  23. Someone with that username and account pic talking about "Cammys" right now is just maximum cringe.
