  1. Igninosun? GTFO. I watched all of OSU's playoff games and everyone's game plan was to try to pick on that guy. It was hard to do because of the surrounding talent but that guy sucks and he'd have to play with boxing gloves on his hands to keep him from grabbing not to be getting constantly flagged in the NFL. He didn't look draft worthy and I doubt he would be if he was playing on some random P5 team.
  2. We've been drafting workout wonders for years now. Outside of Bryce pretty much all of our picks on the Tepper era have been guys who check all the measurables boxes and what has the result been? Trash. There are no prospect evaluations cheat codes but we sure have been operating like RAS is one.
  3. Only getting a 5th for him pretty much confirms what I've been thinking. Deebo is cooked.
  4. Y'all are freaking out over nothing. The top prospects not doing drills is the norm these days. Did we see Travis Hunter out there? Cam Ward? Shedeur Sanders? Mason Graham? Ashton Jeanty? Abdul Carter was dealing with the foot issue but probably wouldn't have done drills either. This is normal. It sucks but it's normal.
  5. I hate it but if you're considered a top 10-15 pick you generally just don't do drills at the Combine. That's been the case for awhile now.
  6. Yeah, the DBs, RBs, LBs, and DEs absolutely FLEW. If you didn't run fast it's because you ain't fast or maybe you just had a bad day, whatever. But it wasn't because of the field.
  7. Get press the fug out of the locker rooms. You're going to have your press conference, ask your questions there. You don't need to be up in the players' business when they're changing and either celebrating or decompressing. I mean, damn...
  8. 4.88 is bizarre. He plays like a mid-4.6 guy.
  9. His lack of statistical production is a massive red flag. The guy has worked out like Superman but has the stats of a total JAG. Not an NFL JAG. A college JAG that isn't even on the NFL radar. His stats are traaaaaash.
  10. Speed at CB is not going to be a concern on this draft. 18 CBs have ran 4.5 flat or better. 7 have ran 4.4 flat or better. Two at 4.3 flat. Hunter was right not to do the drills. I honestly don't think he would've stood out. He would've tested VERY well but it would've probably threw a little cold water on him being athletically head and shoulders above the pack. Across the board so far there are some ATHLETES in this class.
  11. Massive free outreach to recruits. The reason NFL teams hate it is because there's no competitive advantage. That's not the case in college football.
  12. As most know, NFL teams have become very resistant to being featured on Hard Knocks. So... in steps Belichick and UNC. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-bill-belichick-unc-to-appear-on-offseason-hard-knocks holy poo
  13. I know there were some folks here pretty high on Iowa LB Jay Higgins. 4.82 is pretty rough. Slowest LB to run so far by a pretty wide margin.
  14. Already talked about it. Comparing a stress reaction in the foot to an ACL is like comparing a dinged door to a totalled car.
  15. The Brooks pick was just so dumb. Trading up in the 2nd to draft a RB coming off of a major injury? Just DUMB. As for Horn, I don't recall any injury concerns for him coming into the draft.
  16. There's no crystal ball about any of this stuff. Plenty of guys with no track record of injury turn to glass in the NFL. But if you draft a guy knowing he's dealing with an injury going into it and he might miss a little time it's not like you have a panic attack when he's not on the field week one. LOL I'm generally not a big fan of drafting injured players but this just isn't one that scares me. Which is why he's still almost certainly gone before #8 anyway.
  17. There's a reason why Burns was a mid-1st round pick instead of a top 5 lock like Carter. It's because Burns sucked at everything except being faster around the corner than the OT in front of him. He still does. He's really good at the trick tht gets you paid and there were still enough concerns on his overall game for him to fall to the middle of the first. Carter is honestly better at everything coming out of college.
  18. Carter is way more well rounded than Burns ever was. Burns was and is a great speed rusher and he's a good pursuit run defender. But honestly he's subpar everywhere else. Carter has almost as many solo tackles in his college career as Burns had combined tackles.
  19. I hate to break it to the folks stressing about a guy who almost certainly won't be there at #8 potentially not being ready by week 1 but what the fug does it matter? Y'all expecting to win the Super Bowl next year or something? What would a rookie missing a few weeks matter?
  20. Reddick was a great player after the Cardinals finally put him in a pass rushing role instead of trying to force a pass rusher to be a drop back LB. They bought a thoroughbred and tried to turn it into a plow horse.
  21. Seems about right. I mean, we've been putrid ass during the Tepper era.
  22. Don't be shocked if that changes after the draft. Of course he's not having surgery before the draft.
  23. Even if he has surgery he won't be sitting a year. The poster who said that is just wildly incorrect.
