  1. Matt Rhule and Bryce both duped the poo out of Tepper over dinner and their bank accounts are very healthy for it. Good for them. Whenever Tepper gets tired of getting embarrassed for being a dumbass on football maybe we can have a chance again.
  2. I just don't know how much input they actually have. Aside from Bryce we so consistently draft high RAS developmental guys that it really feels like it's all Tepper "analytics".
  3. And it wasn't just our front office. Evidently a lot of NFL teams missed it. All the talking heads missed it. I just don't see how. I was laughed at repeatedly this off-season for having the gall to question Bryce's talent level. Well... how about now?
  4. Opposite sides of the same bad QB coin. Wilson is bad because he has million dollar talent and a ten cent head. Bryce is bad because he has ten cent talent. We were sold on a million dollar head but I honestly ain't seen it.
  5. I legit LOL when they act like the folks who don't think Bryce is gonna make it don't understand what they're watching. Like
  6. I'll be the first to admit that I thought Fields would be better and I honestly think the Bears need to move on. Fields needs a fresh start elsewhere and the Bears need to restart that rookie QB contract window again. But Fields is in a different universe than Bryce in terms of physical talent.
  7. The big difference is the talent level. Even when Fields wasn't playing well you could see flashes of elite talent. You don't see it with Bryce.
  8. I guess you can trade high picks like crazy when you nail mid-rounders.
  9. Seems like a great guy. Helluva college QB. But he's Chris Leak. HS prodigy with subpar measurables, good college QB, but everyone saw he didn't have NFL talent. I just don't know how they missed it with Bryce.
  10. I'm honestly doubting his ability to have a career as a backup at this point.
  11. How did the Rams find Cooper Kupp in the 3rdnand then find Cooper Kupp 2.0 in the 5th? Must be nice to have competent talent evaluators.
  12. It's part of the fix. The entire offense is trash but a big part of the reason it's trash is the QB. You can only make excuses for so long. Today was a big eye opener for me. I'd been critical all year of us not throwing the ball down the field but I saw why today. I wanted to see if Bryce could throw the ball effectively down the field. I found out today.
  13. Being wrong is a bitter pill to swallow. It happens though. We've all wanted guys who have been busts and we've all not wanted guys who turned out to be good players. It is what it is. But doubling and tripling down on being wrong is just hilarious.
  14. This is the type of entertainment I'm talking about. Says the guy defending Bryce while he sprays the ball around like he's blindfolded. He wasn't accurate downfield in college either. His footwork was atrocious then too. It was all there to see. I'm just surprised it's THIS bad. I wasn't big on Bryce but honest to god never dreamed he'd be this bad.
  15. I started watching right before half. Laughing at you copers is probably the most entertaining part of being a Panthers fan right now.
  16. Definitely not guys who aren't within reach of the ball, that's for sure.
  17. Unfortunately, I think we're seeing today why the offense has felt like they're actively avoiding throwing the ball down the field this year. We threw the ball effectively down the field in one game all year long but it triggers folks if you mention that game.
  18. Looks like we're back in that cycle of bad weather weekends again. Beautiful through the week, crap on the weekends. Felt like most of the summer was that way. Last weekend was crap, this weekend is crap, and next weekend looks like crap again.
  19. But he hasn't been accurate. I mean, the excuses have to stop at some point. Yeah, the whole offense sucks but we've had guys open downfield today and Bryce can't hit them.
  20. You can just throw a dart board at the depth chart and there's a really good chance of hitting a problem. QB, WR, TE, OL, S, CB, LB, run stopping edge players. There's just problems everywhere.
  21. Carr has sucked today but that was a great throw. Wish Bryce could do that
  22. The entire rest of the league has turned 3rd and 4th and 1 into an automatic 1st with QB sneaks. Then there's us going five wide empty backfield and failing repeatedly.
  23. We just got away with a very obvious block in the back on that 3rd down screen. Then we go 0-4 on 4th when Blackshear slips and falls.
