Announcers, chill. We can stop with the whole student-athlete charade now.
-
I honestly think you have to kick. Your OL is struggling to pass protect and your QB is super shaky. You just tried the sneaky run. If I'm ND I'm gonna play double robbers over the middle of the go for this because this QB hasn't completed a pass beyond the LOS outside of the hashes all night.
-
Indiana isn't losing much with this OC leaving for UCLA.
-
You gotta talk to your boy after that one. Like bro, we're in total control of this game and that play is blown up and you're bottled up. Don't do something stupid and get hurt.
-
Indiana probably already in "let's try to keep this score somewhat respectable" territory.
-
Yeah, he's a legit coach. They just don't have the Jimmy's and the Joe's to compete with top 10 teams but the dude can coach. They aren't losing because of scheming and coaching. They're losing because ND's backups are probably better than their starters.
-
Feels like the route will be on if Indiana doesn't put up some points on this drive.
-
Yeah, you know what you're doing. Constantly searching for an off topic argument to detail threads
-
Yep. They're pretty much just running the ball and throwing screens. Why not? I mean, it's very low risk and it's working. Probably not gonna change it unless IU forces them to.
-
Why do you pick a narrative and then constantly try to bait a fight with it? No one wants to watch you and CRA argue about Clemson again
-
Indiana just doesn't have the athletes. The defensive scheming is good. Guys are in position to make plays they just don't have the ability to finish them.
-
Damn. You forced the fumble and can't recover it.
-
Gotta make that tackle. You have them stopped if you just tackle.
-
Indiana's QB is playing like poo tonight. They finally got the run established but ND is going to just start completely selling out against the run of this QB can't start hitting on some throws.
-
Yep, the lights are just too bright for this Indiana team. This might get ugly.
-
And now Indiana throws the pick after getting in scoring range. He really forced that one. That guy was absolutely blanketed.
-
Now they're talking about some kid in his seventh year of college football at his third school. LOL Well, some man. You're definitely not a kid 7 years removed from HS.
-
Indiana needed that. Maybe that'll settle them down.
-
INT off the tipped ball! Hell yeah!
-
Yikes. Terrible start by Indiana. Offense went backwards and then a piss poor punt. ND has an abysmal playoff history but the spotlight is just looking too bright for Indiana early on.
-
Waste of talent.
-
I know no one really cares about this Florida/Tulane bowl game but it's pretty embarrassing when your team puts up the same number of points a team consisting of Huddlers would have scored.

I think the portal and NIL will level the playing field somewhat over the top 25 or so. Four and five star recruits are going to be a lot less patient sitting and waiting their turn when they can enter the portal and cash a check AND hit the field for sure next year. Part of the dominance of the top teams was being able to gobble up a ton of the elite talent oftentimes keeping a lot of it riding the pine. I think there's a lot less of that now and that'll be the new norm.

Disagree. The 12 team field ensures that all the teams that could potentially legitimately win are included. It seemed like there was always a very deserving team left out on the cold with the four team format. No matter how large the field, there are always going to be bubble teams that get left out and feel snubbed but I really don't think anyone left out of a 12 team field had a legit chance anyway.
