  1. Mullens with an absolute brain fart there. Just take the sack bro.
  2. They lost two starters off an already bad OL today against the top blitzing team in the league.
  3. When you're trying to soothe yourself playing mental gymnadtics to convince yourself that your #1 overall might be as good as backups and third stringers you know you're losing.
  4. Realize that while you're mocking these guys still look better than our #1 overall pick.
  5. And as I type that Mullens throws a Bryce. Bad throw and one helluva INT. Dude dug that off the tips of the grass
  6. Some Nick Mullens guys that the Vikings are playing today looks like a better processor than our "super processor". I mean, it's so painfully obvious. Just look around the league at all the 2nd and 3rd stringers that don't just look better than Bryce, they look WAY better.
  7. Oof. Huge downfield miss by Browning there on 3rd and 15. Wide ass open receiver streaking down the field for a walk in TD and he put it just barely out of reach. Just throw the safe ball there. You don't have to try to hit him in stride. Slow him down and make it easy. He couldn't be anymore wide open. Just make sure you don't overthrow it and you're good. And he overthrew it.
  8. I still can't believe that the Bengals were playing Joe Burrow badly hobbled early on this season when they had this guy sitting on the pine. They would've definitely been better off playing Browning during those games vs. a badly hampered Burrow who couldn't move and couldn't effectively throw over about 20 yards. I just had to assume that their backup was completely incompetent for them to be playing Burrow like that. The Bengals are starting to border on Cam era Panthers level of QB abuse with Burrow.
  9. Well, we'd be hard pressed to have worse days ahead as a franchise.
  10. Yeah, it's the playoffs and the also rans at this point. That'll get even more obviously apparent when the playoffs expand next year. I'd honestly be okay with keeping a handful of bowls for the good non-P5 teams. But just no one cares about the non-playoff P5 bowls at this point. Even the NYE6 bowls don't matter. They just killed the golden goose with the bloated bowl system. They mattered back when going to a bowl game meant something. Now you have to be completely terrible not to qualify.
  11. This whole situation is just bizarre. Dude, you're offsides. Andy Reid and Mahomes, the dude was offsides. It is NOT the ref's responsibility to help you get lined up. You can ask confirmation but he is absolutely not required to alert you if you're offsides. They'd stop plays for guys lining offsides if that was the case and it's clearly not. The Chiefs really need to STFU about this. They're mad at the wrong person. They need to be mad at that bum ass WR who has cost them two games in recent weeks and should be cut for it. Keep putting him on the field and he's gonna keep hurting you.
  12. Damn. Now Browning drops another downfield dime. This time to Chase. This guy actually looks legit. Could we be seeing the emergence of Delhomme 2.0?
  13. We have some toilet bowls being played and the Vikings and Bengals just kicked off. Jake Browning dropped an absolute dime downfield to Higgins on the first snap and Higgins dropped it. That dude has definitely dropped some balls this year.
  14. Yay! We won the worst division in football!
  15. It's one thing I give Saban a lot of credit for in the college ranks. The guy played very vanilla schemes for most of his career leaning on dominant defense and a ground and pound offense but as he saw the game evolving more and more toward spread passing attacks he adapted. Hell, his new high flying offense made Mac Jones a 1st rounder and Bryce Young #1 overall and look at them now.
  16. Which was still inconsistent. Gettleman sucked. You've just never been able to swallow that bitter pill. The guy was a flash in the pan his first year when all of his bargain basement signings worked to perfection and key elite talents were able to carry a roster held together with duct tape and bailing wire. He just fell victim to his ego thinking he could build a roster out of duct tape and bailing wire every year. Then he went back to the Giants and tried to do the same thing and went 19-46 without Cam, Luke, and company. The guy was trash.
  17. I definitely think Rivera is done. The game has passed him by and I just think he's lost his passion for it anyway. I can't see another team giving him another chance at this point.
  18. Gettleman went into a season with Byron Bell and Nate Chandler as his starting OTs. Not because of injury or some other extenuating circumstances but because he thought that was a great plan. He yanked the tag on our best DB and then spammed picks at CB in order to field a secondary because he got butt hurt and just had to win a dick measuring contest. I was shocked by the firing at the time and bringing back Hurney on any capacity was Tepper level idiocy and mismanagement, but in hindsight Dave Gettleman 100% deserved to be fired.
  19. I'd call zero back to back winning seasons pretty mediocre. It always embarrasses me that this fanbase thumps their chest about going to the playoffs with a losing record. We were a bad team, the rest of the division was just worse.
  20. This. Rivera seems like a legitimately good guy but I don't think he gave this team any lift beyond what a generic middle of the road NFL coach would provide.
  21. We'll need a time machine to bring back prime Cam and Luke if we want to achieve mediocrity again with those two. Without them it'd look like Tepper era Panthers per usual.
  22. I think he had the best talent by far. Honestly, Fox did the better coaching job before he just mailed it in at the end on his blame duck year. There's zero chance Ron Rivera gets that '03 team anywhere close to a SB.
  23. If Bieniemy hadn't been so bad at OC then Rivera would've been fired mid-season but there was just no point in giving Bieniemy an interim test drive. When you have opponents openly kicking your scheme after the game you ain't it. It was shades of the Broncos mocking Shula post-SB50.
  24. Oh look, the terrible team shows up every week because it's worth a lot of money. So inspiring.
