QB is a HUGE part of team success but it's not everything. Especially when your D is non-existent. As a UNC/Deion fan you should be extremely well versed in this concept.

QB play is an absolute anchor around their neck right now. Crazy how this Tennessee RS freshman looked like a future #1 overall pick earlier this year and now he's looking more like DJU 2.0.

Yes. With Miami/Louisville we saw good offense greatly aided by bad defense. In this one we're seeing good defense greatly aided by bad offense.

I mean, honestly he's giving a pretty rational take. Overall, Clemson looks like the best ACC team because they're not completely reliant on winning a shootout every week while they honestly still don't look like a contender on the national level.

And another Tennessee INT. QB play is just killing them. This freshman has fallen off a cliff and since their backup is 0/1 with an INT he's clearly not the answer either. Great defense but QB is a huge problem. The freshman has talent but since they've started playing better competition he's really struggling.

I think Howard will be a mid-round pick. He checks quite a few boxes but doesn't project as a starter IMO. I think he's a 4th or 5th rounder. I honestly don't think I'd spend a draft pick on Gabriel. -
Bama should've gotten back to back delay of games and would've been better off if they did. It ends up being a delay of game followed by intentionally grounding when half the OL didn't even come out of their stance on the snap. LOL

Dillon Gabriel is a poor man's Bryce. He's a late round pick. I have always said that if you don't have a franchise QB and you think there's a guy available who has a decent chance of being one then there's no decision to be made. Draft him. -
Some blue chip program should offer him HC money to be OC and he should take it.

I've just seen a large dose of what happens to teams with no defense carried by their QB in recent years. It's a tough row to hoe week in and week out when every offense you play is going to look elite because of your nonexistent defense so your offense has to be damn near perfect to compete.

Tennessee's QB is really struggling with accuracy. He's missed on what should've been two deep ball TDs and they weren't even close.
