He was gonna 100% try to say that Conner Harrell was at least the equal to Drake Maye. The kid flashed some talent. We didn't lose because of Harrell. We lost because Mack Brown's teams collapse down the stretch. Period. They did it with Howell. They did it with Maye. They all fall apart coming down the home stretch. It's not a player issue. If Maye, Tez Walker, Cedric Gray play honestly we still lose. It's a late season Mack Brown game. We lose those. My concern is that Mack couldn't achieve more than decent with teams that regressed over the course of the season with guys like Howell and Maye at QB. UNC level programs just don't have those types of QB talents back to back. It doesn't happen. Well, they're gone now. Lightning is highly unlikely to strike three times. So if we don't have an NFL caliber talent at QB what's it gonna look like? That's my concern.

I don't really care about the bowl. This is what I expected missing the majority of our studs. But all of Mack's teams have face planted in the second half of the season. It's not a talent issue.

It needs to happen. I love that he came back. He was exactly what we needed at the time. But he stayed past his expiration date. We needed someone to drag us out of the gutter and turn us around but then he rode the turnaround into the ground. I still think he's made us a more attractive landing spot.

Nah, I've had enough. Having two NFL QBs has saved us from being abysmal. That streak is ending and it's gonna get ugly. And it's not the players. Our D has been a joke for years and Louisville has a damn good D with two of our transfers starting in their secondary.

4th and 3 let's chuck a prayer 30 yards down the field. Just brilliant.

This is my last Mack Brown game. I'll be interested again when he's done fleecing the school for all he can get before being forced into retirement because that's where this is headed.

I hate running wide out of shotgun on 3rd and short when you'll for for it on 4th as long as you don't go backwards. Then you interfere with the punt catch and you should've just fuging gone for it anyway. I'm tired of watching Mack teams do dumb poo.

He just never saw the defender that made the play. He was watching the trailing defender and thought he had a layup. One of the dangers of throwing across the field. It's not only a tougher throw, it's a tougher read. Credit where credit is due though, it was a helluva defensive play
