The Ravens' dominance of the LOS cannot be overstated. -

And that's what happens when you blow chances against great QBs. They usually make you deeply regret those blown chances. -

Texans blowing some chances here. Should've knocked down the pass on that 1st down conversion and should've picked off the next ball. -

What was Lamar so pissed about there? That was weird. Gotta think someone screwed up not pulling to block or something. -

It's the downside of being the media darling team that gets hyped to no end every single year. All of your good players are stars and want to be paid as such. -

Missed it. I didn't understand all this talk about a FG in the bag with a 47 yarder in these conditions. That 3rd down play was rushed. Stroud should've been a little more patient and put a better ball out there. The play was there. Probably wouldn't have moved the sticks but would've made a 47 yarder 41 or 42 yards. -

How many false starts are the Texans gonna have today? Good grief. You can't win putting yourself behind the sticks constantly with procedural stuff. -

The Ravens are dominated the LOS on both sides of the ball. That's a good recipe for winning football games. -

I'd trade Tepper and Bryce for a moldy ham sandwich. Hell, I'd throw in a 1st rounder if I had to. -

Man, this Ravens D is fuging GOOD. Even the nice plays the Texans have had have required pretty much perfect throws. Good pressure and good coverage pretty much ever snap. -

I'm just watching hoping to see good football. Don't really care who wins. Just hoping for good game. -
Pretty confident its gonna be Dan Morgan GM
LinvilleGorge replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
Where is your confidence in Tepper coming from? All I've seen so far is a series of blunders and they seem to be getting progressively worse. I'll change my tune when I'm given a reason to hope for better. Until then, this is a clown show. Loved Fitt? Hell, I said from the get go anyone willing to take a job as a GM without final roster say ain't a guy you actually want to be hiring to be a GM. -

I honestly think that David Tepper is the GM in function. The GM in title is just a paper pusher and a fall guy for when the time comes to throw someone under the bus. Tepper's GM is basically like checking the "fill roster" option on Madden franchise mode. The computer makes the moves that you don't really care about.- 144 replies

I have no idea what the internal dynamics were but I do have a strong suspicion that whenever David Tepper thinks something that's going to end up being the move that's made so does it really matter who has the GM title?
-
The D is solid. I was saying that two of his specific selling points aren't selling points. Now he wants to accuse me of lack of reading comprehension evidently pretending like he didn't mention those two specific selling points.

Tepper should hang a plaque in his office. Carolina Panthers 32nd ranked employer in the industry! It ain't bad when there's only 31 other employers in the world better than you.
-
When a guy who spends more time on the injury list than on the field and one of the statistically worst QBs in the NFL are part of your key selling points... well, that pretty much says it all.
-
How crazy would it be if Morgan ended up the GM and Evero the HC? That would certainly lend a LOT of credence to the internal Hunger Games environment that has been rumored.

Why do so many people conveniently ignore that Denver legitimately tried to sign Kaepernick to a 2 year/$14M deal prior to the 2016 season and he declined reportedly insulted by the offer? That contract would've made him the 23rd highest paid QB in the league at the time. Basically low level starter/high level backup money. Which, let's be honest, was basically Kaepernick's value. Once he didn't sign that deal, everyone else in the league saw that and weren't willing to offer more his career was effectively over. Blackballing just isn't an accurate depiction of the story. He wasn't willing to sign for what teams were willing to pay. That's not blackballing.
