  1. I'm still just gobsmacked every time I encounter a Panther fan Cam hater given the absolute poo show we've been post-Cam. I mean, seriously. WTF???
  2. Not in recent years. In recent years a lot of the Super Bowl champs have been pretty bad statistical defenses.
  3. Yeah, at some point the elite QBs have to realize that squeezing ever dime for themselves leaves the team cash strapped to put a team around them. A big part of the reason why Brady has more rings than Manning is that he always had a more team friendly contract. At some point the money is just dick measuring and keeping score. I'd rather take a little less meaning I can have better OL on front of me and better receivers beside me. You're still going to make way more money than you could ever reasonably spend.
  4. I really don't care who wins or loses any of these games. I'm just hoping for good, competitive, entertaining games.
  5. The Chiefs very well might win. But Kelce is 34 years old and he's starting to look like a shadow of what he once was. Father Time is a cruel bastard.
  6. Bruh, he wasn't a FA. He was franchise tagged. Teams realized they would've been doing nothing but negotiating the terms for the Ravens since all the Ravens would've had to have done was simply take any offer Lamar singed and said, "Yep, we'll do that." and ink the deal. Just stop.
  7. I have no clue about their cap space but they definitely need weapons. This looks like a good WR class. Wouldn't be surprised if they added a decent FA and went WR early too.
  8. Possible. I think the Chiefs are in for a bit of a reset. Kelce is decking hard at this point. I wouldn't be shocked if he retires. They need weapons. They should benefit from Rice taking the typical rookie to 2nd year leap but the rest of their WR/TE group needs some serious work.
  9. It's not just pressure. It's pressure and excellent coverage. The Ravens are the best D in the league for a reason. We made everyone the best D in the league for that week.
  10. They had a terrible day against probably the best defense in the league. That's a really bad combo.
  11. More seasoned. More talented. Just plain better. The difference in the trenches were the main thing. The Ravens' lines just dominated both sides of the ball.
  12. It just feels like the successes come easy for the Ravens. Where as every positive play the Texans manage feels like they were scrapping and clawing for every inch of it. In other words, the Ravens are just the better football team.
  13. It's hard to hang in there when you're getting dominated in the trenches all game long. If the Ravens don't start turning it over or blowing coverages or giving up more special teams TDs it's gonna be hard for them to lose.
  14. The Ravens are just the better football team. Honestly they're gonna have to blow it to lose this game.
  15. The difference in talent in the trenches is about as stark as I've seen in an NFL game. Baltimore owning the LOS on both sides of the ball.
  16. I don't know what that was. That was way too cute and slow developing when you're struggling to block. How did you expect protection to hold up for all of that?
  17. The Texans offense is just really limited. They can't run the ball at all and they're rolling the pocket on most passing plays because they're struggling to block the pass rush too. Rolling the pocket means you're effectively cutting the field in half. They finally break a good run. They really needed that.
  18. At. All. They could have Barry Sanders at RB and it wouldn't matter. The Ravens are just owning the LOS.
  19. Now that was a really nice play by Schultz. Bad drop earlier but that was a nice catch on not a great pass.
  20. The Ravens' dominance of the LOS cannot be overstated.
  21. And that's what happens when you blow chances against great QBs. They usually make you deeply regret those blown chances.
  22. Texans blowing some chances here. Should've knocked down the pass on that 1st down conversion and should've picked off the next ball.
  23. What was Lamar so pissed about there? That was weird. Gotta think someone screwed up not pulling to block or something.
  24. It's the downside of being the media darling team that gets hyped to no end every single year. All of your good players are stars and want to be paid as such.
