  1. Hopefully he somehow gets it right out of sheer dumb luck but I'm well aware that sheer dumb luck is what we're relying on.
  2. Yeah, I honestly fully expect us to go with an offensive minded head coach. Give Bryce his best chance this year and if it doesn't work out have an offensive mind in place to weigh in on the position and what we should do. Keep going all in on Bryce or move on? You have to get QB right. If we had a proven QB in place and were largely being held back by a floundering D I could absolutely see going with a defensive HC but we have the opposite situation.
  3. How early in the conversation do you think he's gonna ask if he'd be tied to Bryce Young? I mean, Vrabel is coming from a situation where he basically had a roster ready to compete for a championship minus a QB and ultimately got fired because he couldn't overcome that. Now the Titans go with an offensive minded guy to try to give Will Levis the best chance to develop.
  4. Yeah, I honestly think it's impossible. I just don't see the prerequisite talent. Not sure why that question made you so defensive.
  5. Oh, it's quite possible I'd say. I honestly think that the outside interest in these positions might be practically non-existent.
  6. We all thought this guy would be a cao wizard. Maybe he would've worked out if we were actually acquiring adequate talent. I don't know. The whole organization is fuged up and that points to the man ultimately in charge of it all.
  7. I've seen the results of David Tepper's hires so far. It doesn't leave me with any confidence that he'll get it right this time around.
  8. I think Canales has done a good job as OC but one decent year as an OC seems like jumping the gun for a HC job. Then again, well qualified candidates with other options are likely gonna choose another option so we're left to consider the guys who will actually take the job.
  9. Probably a lot. But we can't get any worse than #32 with no 1st round pick. So we either start to get better or we stay at rock bottom.
  10. Not gonna lie, that was not inspiring. Let's see how it goes. I mean, we're already the worst team in the league so we can't get much worse.
  11. He probably just loves the game to be honest. But the Commanders had the worst defense in the NFL both in yardage and points and before anyone talks about them trading their starting DEs, their D was terrible before they did that too. I think the game has just passed Ron by. Hell, it had passed Ron by before we fired him.
  12. And then you never showed me. The one thread you bumped clearly did not have people wishing injury on Bryce. I'm not saying it DIDN'T happen. I'm saying I didn't see it, I don't recall it, and you haven't showed me.
  13. Honestly, Fitts deserves to have a statue in front of the stadium... of the Niners and Bears.
  14. There are already posters in this thread saying they're gonna do it. What I'm saying is that they'll be gone if they follow through with it.
  15. He's very obviously saying that playing a small, struggling rookie QB behind a poor pass protecting OL is akin to letting Micah Parsons have target practice. This is not rooting for him to get injured. All you're doing is making your narrative and bias painfully obvious.
  16. I just read every post in the thread. Not one poster was rooting for Bryce to get injured.
  17. Who was actively rooting for him to get hurt? Show me.
  18. This pretty much says all that needs to be said about that. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1LtCOQs60C/?igsh=dWoxZTR3djFsbnBs
  19. I have no argument against that. I honestly think the outside interest may have proven very soft. Just to be clear, criticism of the hire, criticisms of moves made or not made by Morgan are 100% fair game, as always. The only thing we want to nip in the bud here very specifically is mocking his history of concussions on the field incurred for our entertainment. I'm pretty disappointed that some folks have such an issue with what seems to me to be a very fair request for common decency.
  20. As a financial guy, Tepper has to realize he's turned Panthers PSLs into the equivalent of a penny stock.
  21. Yeah, criticizing a player's performance on the field and his physical ability to perform on the field is not the same thing as mocking a former player for serious injuries incurred on the field. This isn't difficult to comprehend.
  22. Not a PSL holder but I haven't bought any Panthers merch and haven't paid for a ticket during the Tepper era. I don't plan on that changing until I see some concrete signs of competency via performance on the field and lack of thrown beverages and fuging over local municipalities in dick measuring contests.
