True story.

I just think coaching at the college level and coaching at the NFL level is very different. Kids vs. men. Very limited time with your players vs. pros working long hours and the resulting schematic complexities that comes with that. Massive roster vs. minimal roster. Huge talent variances vs. every team is made up of the best football players in the world. Rhule and his staff just don't have the necessary NFL experience. Maybe Rhule could've had a chance if he'd assembled a legit NFL staff and allowed a real NFL GM to handle roster building duties but he was smarter than everyone else. He wanted to do it HIS way. Well, we're witnessing the results.

The opposite of Rhule. In both of Rhule's seasons, we played our best football early in the season and then went downhill. At least last year we remained competitive for the most part. We're just getting our teeth kicked down our throat this year. How anyone could see any hint of progress this season is beyond me.

I'm not too worried. We just got blown out by the Bucs' practice squad while the Dolphins are about to be on a 7 game winning streak.

Can we draft coaches and/or owners? Because if not, does it even matter?

If this attitude in the building was so prevalent it sure seems like someone, anyone in the media would've picked up on it. All the media folks seem to think Rhule is back next year. Rooting for rando's uncle though.

He took terrible teams and turned them into teams that could beat all the terrible and mediocre teams on their schedule but still couldn't beat actually good teams. Nah, I don't get it. I raised this alarm when we hired the guy - that his record vs. ranked opponents was unbelievably abysmal. But I was assured that I was an idiot and Tepper was an all knowing football god and we'd win all the Super Bowls under his omnipotent leadership.

Rhule's "culture" sure seems to be blaming everyone else. He's run out of internal folks to blame so now it's the fans' fault.

DJ Moore would be a household name if he played for a real NFL franchise.

I was a fan long before Robby and Rhule came to town but I'm not sure I'm gonna make it though them. Tepper is running this bitch into the ground. We were always a mediocre franchise but we occasionally flirted with greatness. It's been down, down, down in a burning ring of dumpster fire ever since Tepper bought this thing.

I'm still hoping beyond hope that Tepper will fire him with Nas' "Ether" playing quietly in the background of the presser to announce it.

This is why it's not an overreaction. There's no indication this is going to get fixed.

If Rhule stays it IS a Tepper problem.

It doesn't matter, man. This franchise is stuck in doormat territory as long as Rhule is here. The only question that remains is how deep of a hole is he going to dig?

With all the talk from folks saying Tepper wouldn't hesitate to make the move if he didn't think Rhule was the guy, that opens us up to a horrifying reality. If Tepper sticks with Rhule then he's a true believer. Once Rhule washes out of coaching, he might have a future as a cult leader.

More excuses for Rhule. We need to be full strength losing as embarrassingly as possible.

The only thing firing Joe Brady proved was the Joe Brady was quite obviously not the problem.

Don't forget, he never beat any actually good college football teams. He only won two games vs. ranked opponents and those two teams (Navy and ECU) dropped from the rankings after losing to Temple on their way to .500ish seasons. Matt Rhule is a fraud. Tepper is gonna have to swallow the very bitter pill that he got duped.

I honestly don't care. If Tepper doesn't care why should I?

But look at that culture.

Rhule is the bust. Brown showed significant promise last year. Everyone has regressed this year. There are so many glaring signs that our coaching is just flat out not NFL caliber. If Brown doesn't bounce back next year under a new staff then I'll be concerned about him. If there's not a new staff next year, then we're fuged anyway so who cares?
