  1. Yeah, when I said amiss I just meant generally speaking. Something is off here. You don't just up and decide to trade last year's top 10 pick on the cusp of preseason starting on a whim.
  2. People who think you can get a better deal with cash don't understand how car dealerships work. They generate a lot of their profit off of the financing piece and add ons after the deal on the car has been agreed upon.
  3. I like DJ and CMC getting some light work at punt returns. I'd be shocked to see either ever used as the primary returner, but if you get in a crucial spot in a crucial game, it's nice to have your best runners with the football having some experience fielding punts.
  4. It's just conversation. Real games will start soon enough.
  5. The only person who thinks I "called out" @AU-panther is you. It completely escapes you that people can have a football conversation and even disagree on matters and not take it personally. I don't even think you think that. You just desperately seek out a fight in every thread you post in. You get butthurt, get personal, proclaim over and over to be done, tell people to stop quoting you, proclaim to be done again. Round and round. You're like Teddy Bridgewater. You suck at this but it's everyone else's fault.
  6. In terms of skill positions, I agree. This OL is still a huge question mark though. Yeah, were a SB contender with a prime Cam but Pickles gets killed.
  7. Go back and re-read the thread. I think you'll be surprised by what you find.
  8. Oh, don't get me wrong. I fully expect Urban to be a poo show. He's gonna need Trevor to carry him like Cam did Ron and crew for this not to go ugly quick and unfortunately for Urban, he doesn't have the defensive chops that Rivera did despite Rivera's other numerous flaws.
  9. When have I told you what you can and can't participate in? You're the one who has repeatedly attempted to tell me not to quote you. I really wish you'd take your own advice. You're the literal embodiment of what you see in others. Seek help.
  10. Yeah, something is seriously amiss her and like the Cards with Rosen, it feels like they've realized they made a huge mistake and would love the opportunity to get something back out of the deal.
  11. Go back and read through this thread and be honest with yourself. It was just a football conversation before you showed up and got emotional and personal, per usual. Seriously, try it. You do this constantly and then try to play the victim card.
  12. I've never tried to hide. Always just called it like I see it. I just think you're delusional and I enjoy toying with you.
  13. It happened with Josh Rosen just a couple years ago. Three years removed from being a top 10 picks, he's barely hanging onto a camo roster spot on his 4th team. Sounds like he could expect to be cut any given day.
  14. We've reached the "I know you are but what am I?" stage of your flailings now. LOL!
  15. I'm not a doc, but you should consider speaking to one.
  16. Measurables aren't everything but damn, it's very difficult seeing this translate to NFL success. This is basically Steve Smith size with Shaq Thompson speed.
  17. If a guy is being shopped a year after being a top 10 picks, that's got red flags all over it.
  18. I don't think "sense" and you play well together. Speaking purely of football, two people have pointed out the Rosen/Cardinals situation to you while you keep insisting that the Bears are married to Fields for years to come while you accuse others of being stuck only on their viewpoints.
  19. I'd love for Christensen to help out this year but I won't be legit concerned unless it's the same story in camp next year.
  20. LOL! I already said I wasn't done. You're projecting again.
  21. We're on the hook for roughly $24M on Darnold if he fails we are out time and money and we have to start over. The situations are very similar. We just have the advantage of also having a different 1st round pick but the disadvantages of not having a 2nd round pick, a 4th round pick, a 6th round pick, and $24M of cap space. We also forego the possibility of landing a legit QB and having him on the cheap for 4-5 years instead of 1-2. Honestly, the only way we win this IMO is if Darnold works out and Fields doesn't. If they both work out, I would've still rather have Fields on a fresh rookie contract because it's more years of cap flexibility vs. Darnold. History says Fields has the higher chance of working out. Yeah, there are plenty of 1st round busts but there are very few successful 1st round bust reclamation projects. We're getting big against the odds on this one.
  22. You've said repeatedly that you're done. Be done. I've never said I'm done because I'm having fun.
  23. They have less cap space invested in him than we do in Darnold. We saw the Cardinals move on from the #10 overall pick after only one year just three years ago. The rookie wage scale changed this big time.
  24. All you have to do is actually do what you've said you were gonna do numerous times on this thread. You've retired yourself from this conversation more times than Brett Favre. I'm gonna keep you going just to keep laughing at your delusions of grandeur while you epitomize what you accuse others of doing. Projection at its finest. You're a basket case, you're just not self aware enough to see it.
