  1. One of my concerns about Rhule (beyond his abysmal record against ranked college teams) was his nearly complete lack of NFL experience and thus likely serious lack of NFL contacts. It's not like Temple and Baylor had NFL coaches flocking to scout talent. When he assembled a staff reflecting that, it was like uh oh.
  2. Yep. Hindsight being 20/20, Rhule's lack of success against ranked teams in college wasn't a fluke. He beat up on bad teams at the college level. There are no "bad" teams at the NFL level. The worst teams at the NFL level are basically right outside the rankings at the college level since there are 25 teams ranked in college and only 32 total NFL teams. And Brady? Yeah, turns out he just walked into probably the most talented offensive college roster of all time and anyone bringing a modern offense into the mix there would've created video game results since the previous system they were running was last seen when football was played in leather helmets.
  3. The only hope Rhule can give me at this point is getting himself fired. I'm over this guy.
  4. Sadly, this is the truth. We've only had 7 double digit win seasons. 7 out of 27.
  5. Carroll looks great for his age but he's 70 years old. I very seriously doubt he'd want to start over somewhere else. To put that into perspective, he's 11 years older than George Seifert was when we hired him.
  6. Rhule has never been on the hot seat as a head coach either. That can change things.
  7. We couldn't block anything. We consistently ran the ball into fronts with 9 guys on the LOS. When we did get passes off about half of them were tipped at the LOS from the pressure. We made Tua look like prime Drew Brees and their D look like the '85 Bears. We would literally lose to the winless Lions at this point.
  8. The offense was fine last week and they got dominated by a mediocre offense. The Dolphins are an average at best passing offense and we made Tua look like a prime Brady... just like we did Heinicke last week.
  9. You need to look bigger picture. We've been corking the drain ever since Tepper bought this team and the speed of the swirling is getting faster. I just want to know what's on the other side of the flushing. I'm afraid it's the sewer.
  10. Defense is set? You watched the last two games?
  11. There has always been clear progression though. We're watching regression.
  12. We were right about Teddy too.
  13. My Giants buddy texted me during the game and thanked us for hiring Rhule away from them. I think it was on that 4th and 34 from the goalline.
  14. I raised the question marks when we hired him. Like, wait a minute... this guy is something like 2-17 against ranked NCAA opposition. That seems problematic.
  15. How are we supposed to be rebuilding when we've traded damn near our entire draft next year?
  16. I honestly don't care. You could put in the love child of Tom Brady and Joe Montana and it still wouldn't matter with the way our OL played today.
  17. Rhule and the rest of his college buddies don't know what they're doing at the NFL level and neither does the guy signing their checks.
  18. The more Tepper puts his stamp on the organization the worse we have gotten. I think I'm starting to understand where the biggest problem lies.
  19. Some years. Everyone takes some L's, but three years straight with each year looking progressively worse? The guy has been a failure as an NFL owner so far. No other way to slice it.
  20. There can be no question. We came in to today with a chance to still fight for a playoff berth but we knew our back was against the wall and THIS was the performance we produced. Rhule and company have to go, period.
  21. If Tepper was losing money three years straight to start out with in the hedge fund world with the results looking progressively worse he would've been out on his ass.
  22. The best season we've had so far under Tepper was with all the pieces he inherited. Once he started to put his stamp on the organization it's been downhill ever since. No way to sugarcoat it. He's the problem. He has to figure out how to run a football organization for us to right the ship.
  23. Fitts literally started talking like we were already in the playoffs.
