  1. That CB was so good we had to trade midseason for another vet CB.
  2. Gimme your contract and sure thing bud. I'll go out there and embarrass myself and get smashed with a poo eating grin on my face thinking about those checks.
  3. I saw the opposite. He pretty much looked like trash outside of a few decent plays. There were times when the opposing offense's entire strategy was "find Henderson and throw that direction".
  4. Yeah, the Giants have been almost as poorly ran as we've been in recent years. The final nail in the coffin of the "we really screwed up firing Gettleman" argument.
  5. Rhule doesn't have the luxury of pumping the brakes now. He's down to his last swing.
  6. Perhaps the most brutal thing ever said to someone on the Huddle.
  7. You're not factoring in a desperate coach and an owner desperate for NFL caliber QB play. You seem to be expecting the Panthers to suddenly start making rational moves at QB. I don't.
  8. Jimmy G is the guy who I've always felt will ultimately be here.
  9. I don't want my guy anywhere near this debacle. Let him go to a stable situation.
  10. They've made it too clear they're moving on from Darnold just like they did with Teddy when they soured on him. They're gonna do something and if history is any indication it's gonna be something very dumb that fails spectacularly.
  11. Everything about Tepper and Rhule's Panthers has been depressing. Watching them flounder betting big on trash veteran QBs that the vast majority of the fanbase knew we're gonna flop hard is just pathetic.
  12. I just think there's very little (virtually zero) chance that Rhule and Tepper stick with him this year.
  13. Hell, the ultimate win for me here is the deal falling apart with the politicians wearing egg on their face. This is shaping up perfectly.
  14. We just lost key contributors off an already mediocre defense and we still have Sam Darnold penciled in at starter. Not so sure #1 overall in '23 isn't well within reach.
  15. I side with the common people of Rock Hill. It's a bad deal for them. That's literally all I care about. The billionaires and their bought and paid for politicians can pound sand.
  16. Worst pick ever? Nah. Hell, he's just a run of the mill Hurney 2nd rounder.
  17. It's worked before. Your best bet of landing a legit QB is with a VERY high first round draft pick. So yeah, if #6 overall could get us either a good LT or a spectacularly bad QB, I'll go with option B. We're still a 6-7 win roster with a good LT. That'll be good for a pick in the lower half of the top 10 again. And likely watching those QBs we covet go just out of reach. Again.
  18. It's weird to me watching people actively rooting for billionaires to fleece municipalities. It'd be a much wiser move by Rock Hill to invest $21k per each impoverished resident in their city than hand Tepper $225M to help fund his headquarters.
  19. It get us closer to the goal of landing an elite QB. If it takes a Clausen 2.0 to get there then so be it.
  20. Adding a top tier LT would complete our transition into the new old Cleveland Browns. We all saw the best LT of his generation suit up for them for a decade while they sucked balls each and every year.
  21. That would be relevant if David Tepper was a construction company. He's not. Here's a better analogy... Imagine you're being made promises by politicians of all these wonderful things that they're going to do for you only to get the run around after the ballots are cast. Yeah, the average Joe gets to deal with that every election cycle. David Tepper just isn't accustomed to being treated like a commoner while trying to play himself off as having the mentality of one. Well, welcome to the club buddy! How's it feel?
  22. Ya think? I'm just saying, a bad rookie season doesn't make for a disastrous career. Four bad seasons though...
