  1. Well, I guess that means that a 2nd, 4th, and 6th might be able to get the deal done.
  2. Yep, Maye and the freshman RBs look like the real deal. I don't want to lose Bly's recruiting abilities but these kids just don't seem to be developing under his coaching.
  3. They had some fast receivers. Real talk though, it might be time to move Dre Bly into some type of special assistant/dedicated recruiter type role. He's brought in a ton of talented secondary recruits but as much as I loved him as a player he must be an awful position coach because the recruiting rankings never translate on the field. Our secondary looks completely terrible, per usual.
  4. Well, to be fair he did get ran down by D2 LBs. The two guys he's getting chased by in that clip rana 4.75 (#56) and a 4.67 (#41). I liked Willis as a prospect. All I said about his running was he ain't no Lamar Jackson or Michael Vick and he's not.
  5. Howell, Willis, and Corral were my top three QBs. Two outta three ain't bad I guess. Leave it to the Panthers to pick the wrong one.
  6. I'd gladly pay a few more cents per gallon not to get my teeth rattled when I drive through.
  7. I think people have used revisionist history to make Jake seem like a guy who got by on nothing more than will and moxie. That wasn't exactly accurate.
  8. This. I want everything about this season to be a raving success or abysmal failure. We desperately need clarity on our direction. "The Process" is either working or it's not. Mediocrity would be the worst case scenario IMO.
  9. It'd be awesome if he has similar success but they're not very comparable in terms of style of play.
  10. The best news for Malik Willis? He isn't coached by Jim Nagy. *Oops, I was thinking about Matt Nagy.
  11. He's been hampered by injuries and when Brady got fired his biggest supporter on the staff likely left the building.
  12. Corral was my #2 QB in this draft class. Yeah, I would've rather had Howell but I wasn't upset about picking Corral. Some picks pan out and some don't. Honestly, I'm pretty shocked by how atrocious Corral looked, but he DID look atrocious.
  13. Based on what we've seen so far and where he should be on the depth chart based on other guys simply playing better, anything close to 400 yards would be surprising. Baker is gonna have to throw for 4000+ for TMJ to have 400 yards.
  14. Don't get me wrong, I thought Corral was the 2nd best QB prospect in this draft class but early returns look like I was wrong about that.
  15. So you're gonna root for our starter to struggle because your crush of a rookie looked terrible? Okay...
  16. I'm gonna be honest, this just reads like copium. Ballers ball. Even when put in bad situations they find a way to show they belong. Corral simply didn't look like an NFL player. He needs a LOT of work but he's not gonna get any on IR. Not good.
  17. Howell still looks like Howell. Still running. Still dropping dimes. Does not look like a rookie. Still making chicken salad out of chicken poo. But damn, do the Commanders serve up some chicken poo. They look terrible and terribly undisciplined to boot. 24/35 for 280 and 1 TD, 8 carries for 62 yards Everyone knows I'm a huge Howell fan but I'm honestly surprised how well his athleticism is translating. I really didn't know how his running would translate in the NFL. Well, it looks just like it did at UNC. Really strong and hard to tackle and sneaky fast once he's in the clear.
  18. Unless the Commanders' are really sandbagging I don't think Ron is gonna last any longer in Washington than Rhule is here. They look terrible, particularly on D. Which is a particularly terrible look for a defensive coach.
  19. He looked the worst of the bunch and then he got hurt. Now he's gonna miss a year of practice. Not good.
  20. Age related cognitive decline is real.
  21. Clown show of an offensive staff and a very limited young QB. Belichick wanted to hang around to prove he could do it without Brady but he's trying to do it without Brady in a very strange manner.
  22. I really don't think that Rhule will rely on PJ as the #2 but who knows?
