Would you be pleased if we hired Byron Leftwich??

I'd prefer someone with actual coaching experience to be our head coach. -

I've always liked Byron Leftwich so I wouldn't oppose it. -
I really thought that Brown was gonna be Kris Jenkins 2.0. Instead we got Sione Fua 2.0.

Can we officially declare TMJ a bust?

Hurney is gone but I swear it doesn't feel like anything has changed. -
I said all along Herbert had all the tools. In hindsight, that Oregon staff was morons to handcuff him. We'll never see another QB improve as dramatically as a passer as Josh Allen did. That guy was WILDLY inaccurate in college and got drafted on height/weight/speed/arm strength measurables. He was a prototypical bust. I'm still in awe.

What was that? Did you have a stroke or something?

The "L" is mostly on First Half Baker

If it was a vacuum company they'd be more valuable than Tesla. -
We'll check back on this after Saquan Barkley decimated our defense this coming Sunday.

I feel like this video can apply well to watching a lot of our young highly hyped, highly drafted players take the NFL field for Matt Rhule and company.

It's time to admit that he sucks.

Matt Rhule is going to continue playing a bad player for "reasons". We've seen this time and time again. It was blatantly obvious Rhule was desperately trying to find a starting spot for him on the OL in camp and then the Bozeman injury gave him his excuse. I have no idea what he sees in Elflein that everyone else is missing, but opposing defenses sure do appreciate it.

Pic tells it all. Better fix that o line issue
LinvilleGorge replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
You have a rookie LT who is strongest in run blocking and a work in progress protecting the passer going up against one of the league's premier pass rushers. Our game plan reminded me of back in the Shula days when it seemed like oftentimes he'd do the insanely idiotic thinking that he'd catch the opposition napping by trying to do the insanely idiotic. -

LinvilleGorge replied to Khaki Lackey's topic in Carolina Panthers
The pick was an awful pass. Balls deflected at the line are very rarely (I'd argue almost never) on the QB. If a QB is short and/or has a low or slow release he'll naturally have more balls tipped. The second is potentially fixable. The first isn't. Unfortunately, Baker is short for an NFL QB. It is what it is. Drew Brees was shorter. Russell Wilson is shorter. You don't have to be 6'4"+ but it does help. When the OL is letting pressure get in your face balls are gonna get tipped. Cam was 6'5" with a high release and also had an inordinate amount of passes tipped as a Panther for the same reason. -
No clue how I got dragged into this, but...

Yeah, he was bad in the first half. Makes you wonder if taking all the starter snaps in camp and preseason vs. splitting snaps in a farce of a"QB competition" with the worst starting QB in recent NFL memory might have been helpful.- 87 replies

Meanwhile, Cam Newton listening to Sean Payton talking about making life easy on his QB and not putting the entire offense on his shoulders.

Shiiiiiiiiiit... Brett Favre would split that thumb up and keep playing. I seent it.

This. We'd be infinitely better off if Rhule was actually the answer.

There is one less clown show of a Sunday afternoon left in the Matt Rhule era. That's my moral victory.

There's like 17 Seahawks fans who pre-date Russell Wilson. For them to boo him is just fuging absurd. They ripped off "the 12th man" from Texas A&M because there were literally only 12 of them.

He's the luckiest QB I've ever seen. Seems like his 50/50 balls usually have a 98% chance of success.

Got one the other day with a full sheet print out of the Google Maps satellite image from the main road with the route outlined in highlighter.
