Which is why I'm honestly glad he's gone. That's nothing against Thielen. He was everything we signed him to be. But Bryce Young wasn't a guy drafted for his immense physical talent. He was drafted because he's supposed to be a QB football savant. So let's see it. Take away the training wheels doing it for him and let's see it.

Not really concerned about it if Renfrow is good to go. Coker is the more direct Theilen replacement but for a Bryce type QB a guy like Renfrow's seems perfect. A guy who can get open immediately and can do a little something after the catch

For a supposedly slam dunk #1 overall pick generational prospect? Sir, go back and watch Cam in college. LOL
-
He's definitely tough as nails and that's a big reason why I respect the guy. He reportedly runs a 4.5 but I don't see it. He plays like a 4.7-4.8 guy IMO which would fit because it seems like for a lot of guys you can just go ahead and tack on an extra couple of tenths to their "reported" 40 times and that'll get you in the actual ballpark.
-
In his final three years of college he missed a combined three games. He only played in 3 games as a freshman. I'm not sure if that was due to injury or just because he only played in three games as a freshman.
-
I hope he and we will be far better than expected. I expect a that he and we will be straight trash. We'll see. I'll either be pleasantly surprised or get what I expect, either way I won't be disappointed. I'm done being letdown by Tepper's Panthers.

I've always respected GT's QB. He can't throw, he's not particularly fast, but he still finds a way to be pretty damn effective. Gotta respect it. It drives me crazy because it's like WTF... why can't we stop this guy, but he does it to a lot of teams.

Wake Forest in a 10-9 dog fight with Kennesaw State. Kennesaw's ball with two minutes to go. We'll see if Wake hangs on against a school I literally didn't know existed. LOL
-
Yeah, the penalty is one thing but the automatic ejection seems too much but people would be hollering if it was left up to ref discretion so I get it.
-
Yeah, pretty sure we were.
-
Momentum really swinging. Colorado still up 7-3 after GT stalled in the redzone their last drive but after a quick score on their first drive Colorado just can't move the ball at all while GT was moving the ball at will after they stopped turning it over.
-
And despite that CU is only up 7-0 with GT knocking on the door of the redzone. With a quick strike opening score and two gifted turnovers they've really blown a golden opportunity to blow this game wide open.

My bad, I read your initial post as highest paid.
-
So how are you determining who is the highest paid THIS year?
-
Yeah, it's misleading just using the cap hit THIS year based on how NFL contracts work in terms of moving cap hits around for convenience. Dak Prescott is the highest paid player in the NFL this year. Is that indicative of anything other than Jerry Jones being an idiot? Taylor Moton is the highest paid OT this year. Is that indicative of anything other than the Panthers being morons?
-
Colorado strikes quick on their first possession for a TD. Let's see if their D is any better than last year now.
-
I mean, we're either looking at playing Nick Scott who honestly shouldn't be on an NFL roster, a 4th round rookie, or a second year UDFA. That's pretty desperate.
-
The timing is definitely very odd. Seems like a good chance there's something more to it than just a football decision.
-
I wouldn't be opposed to Moehrig if we hadn't paid him like a guy who can cover.
-
"This year" is a bit misleading with how cap hits in contracts work. Looking at average per year contract value, Hamilton is #1 and while technically having a higher run grade, I mean c'mon... Kerby Joseph is #2 Antoine Winfield Jr. is #3. LOL @ the Bucs
-
Those are the types of safeties you can get on the cheap. Safeties get paid for coverage unless you're stuck in the 80s and 90s.
-
I hope I'm wrong about Moehrig but I never understood backing up the Brinks truck for him. He's the type of safety you can generally grab for pretty cheap and lo and behold here's a better version of Moehrig available on the trash heap on the eve of the season.
-
Wouldn't even be that. We still need two starting safeties. It would be more saying that Nick Scott stinks (facts) and we don't want to be backed into relying on a 4th round rookie.
-
We have a lot of moves that still need to be made. A phone call is free.
-
This is definitely worth a phone call to his agent for a conversation. I'm encouraged by the reports on Ransom but relying on a 4th round rookie to be an immediate impact is a tall ask.
