Any updates on who we signed after rookie minicamp?
LinvilleGorge replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Or maybe just athletes who can't play. -
This was SUCH a key part of the Pats' dynasty. It's a massive competitive advantage when you have a cakewalk to the division title every year and a significant leg up on home field advantage, bye week, etc. because your division is absolutely inept year after year.

Don't. Pay. RBs. Just keep drafting them. But not in the damn 1st round.
-
Kitty is thriving. I really didn't expect it to survive.
-
Ben? As in Ben Roethlisberger? That dude had a cannon of an arm in his prime.
-
Howell is gonna be a week one starter in year two. Corral hopes to actually be on an NFL roster in week one of year two. I rest my case on that one.
-
I like that dude. Everyone basically wrote him off when he was mediocre at Bama and got yanked at halftime in the national championship game for Tua. Saban made the right call. Tua was the better QB at that point. Dude transfers to OU and is a legit Heisman candidate, gets drafted in the 2nd round, and is now a legit NFL MVP candidate. Hell yeah.

Mahomes is on the GOAT track and that dude RIPS IT.
-
We have a new head coach, completely new offense, and a rookie QB. I'm definitely alright with giving the rest of the NFL minimal footage to prepare. Bryce doesn't exactly "rip it". The kid can be a great NFL QB but he's gonna do it with what's between his ears more so than his physical attributes.

The conundrums of camp. Is Robinson better than expected or is Mingo not as good as expected or was it just one play and we can't read anything more into it than that? Do we have him lining up at safety or at nickel? I honestly think nickelback might be his best position.

If the Aints didn't want Dalton, why Should we ?

Something has gone badly wrong if he is. -

He was signed to be a backup and vet mentor. We hope he never takes a meaningful snap in a game. -
Rhule was just a total disaster as an NFL coach. And now with this NIL stuff at the college level I'm not sure he'll adapt to that either.
-
And evidently that was very much considered.

Meanwhile...

It was a weird draft for me. Usually there is THE guy I want. But this year, I wanted Richardson but I was just fine with Young or Stroud too if they were the pick instead.
-
I'm offering no predictions but I want 10 wins. 10 wins is what would convince me that we're definitely on the right path forward.
-
TMJ has shown some decent promise. I hope he can blossom under a better staff with better QB play. I hope I'm wrong but Tremble just seems like a bust IMO. Haven't seen much there to hang my hat on.
-
He's not great but he's definitely the best QB in the division until proven otherwise. I think he's a borderline top 10 NFL QB.
-
The entire division has a QB weakness. We're just hoping that we've solved ours.
-
I mean, I kinda get it. The division was atrocious last year and the Falcons drafted a RB who could be among the league's best right out of the gates and they spent a ton of resources on D. So yeah, I could see the media seeing their path to winning what they expect to be a bad overall division. We're gonna be afterthoughts until we prove that we shouldn't be.

[Yates] Carolina has signed G Michael Jordan
LinvilleGorge replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's pretty terrible but most backups are. They're backups for a reason. -
Seattle didn't even realize they had an NFL team prior to Russell Wilson.

My 1873 is the only (bad) pics on my phone

I ain't worried about a RB. I rejoiced when a division opponent drafted a RB high on R1.
