  1. I don't think that. I think they're the only two that wouldn't be reaches at #9. I'm on record wanting Anthony Richardson despite that I think he's a reach at #9. Calm down. Panties all in a bunch for no reason.
  2. Shaq has to be released or extended. That cap hit is untenable. I'd like to keep him but he needs to be paid like what he is - a decent starting LB.
  3. Ah, it's gonna be like that. The NFL is gonna gift wrap this for Rodgers and the Pack.
  4. If we had a promising rookie NOW we wouldn't be pounding the take for a QB in April. We're probably gonna either have to swing a costly trade up or reach big because I don't see any way that Young or Stroud is there at #9.
  5. I'd go with Eddie. Gonzalez is too injury prone. It's a good problem to have choosing between two pretty decent players.
  6. At least the Rams lost so that this year's annual meaningless late season win only cost us one draft spot.
  7. Fitts admitted we still thought hard about drafting Howell too even after we took Corral. That we liked Corral better gives me pause on this crew being behind solving our QB problem.
  8. Imagine how much differently we'd feel about the Panthers if we had a rookie QB who showed promise.
  9. See ya tomorrow. That would've gotten you a week if you'd directed that to anyone other than me.
  10. I mean, he measured in at 6'1". If he was an inch taller no one would've said a word. I'll be honest, I thought he was probably 6 event at very best. I was surprised when he measured in at his listed 6'1". I think his stockiness makes him appear shorter. He's built like a RB.
  11. Give a Howell that snap count and I think he's well ahead of Pickett. Pickett just isn't very good.
  12. It's true. It's not exactly saying much given the rest of the class. But yeah, Howell was clearly the best of the lot. I'm not saying this as revisionist history. I was saying this at this time last year
  13. How he wasn't the first QB taken is beyond me. Just look at the guy. He belongs. The arm translates. The athleticism translates. The only knock on him is that he lacks ideal height. How'd the NFL missed the eval on this kid so badly is baffling to me.
  14. Holy pass interference. How is that not a flag?
  15. Howell playing really well. Showing the wheels translate too.
  16. That was a dime of bomb. Dotson quit running. If he doesn't let up that's a big play.
  17. Cam drug his ass to relevance. Three winning seasons in 12 years. If Cam played like Superman, he had winning seasons. Outside of that...
  18. The difference between Ron Rivera career and Matt Rhule's NFL career was basically nothing more than prime Cam Newton.
  19. If winning an MVP as a QB playing under Ron Rivera isn't HOF worthy I don't know what is.
