  1. The Belichick coaching tree is a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
  2. You can always leave if you don't like it. No one would notice.
  3. I like Derek Carr but I gotta admit I wouldn't be that thrilled if we signed him and I'd be pissed if we traded for him. It's time we jump off the vet retread carousel.
  4. The two leading poo posters on the Huddle teaming up. That makes sense.
  5. I have a feeling what's most likely is that you'll fall in love with another mid round prospect soon and jump bandwagons again. "True fan" and all.
  6. Why do you insist on making a clown of yourself going hard in the paint on long shots? When have you ever been right on one of these? How are you so absent of self awareness keep doing this?
  7. I can honestly only remember one play where I was like, "Okay. That looked like an actual NFL QB." He hit a nice swing pass to a RB on the sideline. It wasn't spectacular. The pass maybe travelled five yards downfield. But it was a nice throw that's kinda sneaky hard to make. But that was the lone bright spot for me. There were a lot more of the "Oh god, this kid is in waaaaaaay over his head." type plays.
  8. And if he doesn't, you'll just keep harping on it anyway because you seem to lack any self awareness as to how bad it makes you look. But you do you because it's fun to laugh at.
  9. Hold on tight to those Corral and Trask fan cards. Combine them with a ten dollar bill and you might get a dozen eggs.
  10. And no matter how good he will somehow have people shitting on him anyway.
  11. I've never said never. I've said that I've never seen a guy who has looked that bad ultimately pan out. I have said in the past and continue to say that you have Corral on the roster on a cheap rookie contract so absolutely give him an opportunity to compete. But you build your roster as if he isn't there. If he pans our, awesome! If he doesn't, well you've already planned for that anyway. I say this because I think the odds are extraordinarily low that he pans out.
  12. How's Kyle Trask doing? Last I heard he still couldn't learn a playbook. That was the last guy you rode this hard on. I see you didn't learn anything from it.
  13. Hilariously adhering to bad ideas doesn't make you brave. It makes you stubborn and egotistical at best, but probably just low IQ and stricken with Dunning Kruger. I've never seen a player look as bad and out of place on an NFL field as Corral did and ultimately pan out. And that was in preseason against guys who generally weren't making final rosters.
  14. I thought Corral was the #2 QB available myself. Looks like I was wrong. That's the difference between me and you. I'll admit being wrong and not hilariously cling to bad ideas.
  15. It was interesting watching their relationship with Jimmy G sour so quickly at the end. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it eventually comes out that Jimmy G was healthy enough to be active during that NFC CG and the Niners staff and brass had simply already made up their minds to move on so they didn't activate him. If that happens... oh wee mayne.
  16. I hope not, but probably. Then again, if Reich continues to call his own offensive plays the OC hire is going to be a lot less crucial than it usually is.
  17. Why would you need to tell them something they already know? Should we tell them that the sky is blue or that water is wet too?
  18. I wish there were folks in our building who could've reached through the mental fog to get to Tepper as he was falling in love with Matt Rhule with the backdrop of Marty Hurney shoveling meatballs down his throat.
  19. That Dallas offense was a machine when Dak wasn't throwing the ball to the other team. I think Emmitt has it wrong here. Sometimes Dak threw the damn ball just to throw the ball. He wasn't considering what color jersey that guy was wearing.
  20. I'm gonna start watching but honestly if the officiating is as bad and seemingly biased as it was in the conference championship games I'm gonna tap out.
  21. Yeah, we weren't good Cam's rookie year but you could see where things were going. We were competitive, the games were exciting to watch. It was very clear that we had a lot of reason for hope. I want that again.
  22. Yeah, we all are. Well, except for the folks still clinging to Sam Darnold potentially being the answer. Evidently they enjoy the losing.
  23. It's not the age as much as it is the years of experience and maturity level. He has a lot of experience. He should be more mentally and emotionally mature at 23, soon to be 24 than the average college kid. It all adds up to say that he should be far further along in his development process than he is. That's what I mean when bringing up his age.
