    Some people are just so proud they consider any differing opinion to be "ignorance". Meanwhile we're 0-5 and the media narrative is increasingly becoming that Bryce isn't looking the part. Is the "ignorance" proving to be contagious?

    There's a reason why people keep clinging to QBs from previous generations. The league has changed. The new rules about illegal contacts hits on QBs, etc. have fundamentally changed the game. It is still obviously very hard to play QB in the NFL, but it's a lot easier than it was in the '90s.

    Everyone looks pedestrian on occasion. It's all about the body of work. Bryce has yet to not look pedestrian.

    Yeah, Richardson's injuries are a massive concern. Especially considering how he's going to have to play to be elite. He's gotta basically play like Cam 2.0. That's an impossible row to hoe if you're fragile.

    I'm not mad at Bryce. I have full confidence he's doing the best he can. The only time I truly blame the player is if they look like they're loafing or clearly just showing a bad attitude, etc. If the players suck and they're trying, it's not their fault. It's on the staff and talent evaluators.

    I said leading up to the draft that I was fine with Bryce, Stroud, or Richardson. I personally ranked them Richardson, Stroud, Bryce, but whatever. I had confidence in this staff to identify and develop the right one. Well, fug

    He really needs to stop those throws where he literally jumps in the air like a frog with his shoulders square to the field and then tries to throw. What in the poo is that? Nolan Ryan couldn't generate any velocity like that.

    I've seen enough to realize that we traded a ton of assets to draft a guy #1 overall who needs to be surrounded by a great supporting cast to have a chance to compete. That sucks. Because the trade seriously cripples our ability to build that. Feels like we're being sold on another 7 year process.

    We can't even enjoy the Panthers tradition of primarily talking draft by Halloween since we're missing our 1st rounder next year.

    Miami hangs in there and clings to #25 in the AP. At least they'll have a number beside their name next weekend. Was really looking forward to a top 15 matchup though.

    Some of y'all act like this guy is a 5th round afterthought of a rookie unexpectedly forced into action by a rash of injuries or something, not a guy drafted #1 overall after a massive trade up. The former would be expected to need a ton of help to be successful. The latter is supposed to elevate the players around him.

    I said I was going to follow Stroud and Richardson just because I liked them both and could absolutely understand the arguments for taking either #1 overall. But I lied. I can't. It's too damn depressing.

    Does it really matter? Until Tepper swallows his ego and completely GTFO of football decisions the comedy of errors will continue. He continues to get sold on people and ideas and quite frankly just complete bullshit.
