  1. Because we've moved him to the slot to get him away from outside CBs and matched up with nickels, safeties, and LBs. He's still a smart m, efficient route runner and now he's being covered by second and third tier cover guys.
  2. Yeah, when you ask me who my favorite current players are I'm basically left with just a disappointed shrug for a response. We traded the last guys I was truly a big fan of when we dealt CMC and DJ.
  3. Just imagine, the Giants had five sacks all year. They have four today. And they're all just straight up jail breaks.
  4. If you're not watching the Giants/Commanders you're missing the worst OL performance I've ever seen at the NFL level.
  5. I think he gets fired mid-season. I think they'll want to give Bieniemy a test drive at some point. Though today is not speaking highly for him. He's Mike Shula levels lost today.
  6. Seems like there have been a LOT of NFL games this year where a team just flat out doesn't show up.
  7. So far, the answer is the Commanders'. By miles. This might be the worst NFL OL ever.
  8. Yeah, I like Lamar but I think he'd look like poo in this offense. It'd be another square org in a round hole.
  9. Ron's team is sleepwalking against another terrible team. If they lose this game the calls for his head are gonna be LOUD.
  10. The Giants and Commanders both need to spend a couple of entire drafts just on OL.
  11. I mean, what else are we supposed to do? We suck and we're on a bye week anyway. It's kinda relaxing to just watch a game to root for a player to do well with no real stress of whether the team wins or losses.
  12. We would've won anyway if McCollum hadn't dropped all the balls.
  13. Tyrod probably actually improves the Giants' chances. This is gonna be the battle of the two worst OLs in the league.
  14. No fear of the new robot vacuum. It stalks and hunts it. PXL_20231022_164424594.mp4
  15. I don't have to tell y'all what I'm gonna be watching.
  16. The best at what? Offense? Sure. But they're always the worst at defense.
  17. Exactly. I understood the logic behind the trade. We were sitting at #9 and correctly judged that we were too low to have a shot at one of the top QB prospects. After playing considerably better down the stretch last season it was reasonable to expect not to be drafting highly in 2024 with theoretically better coaching. Evidently we targeting trading up to #3 but when the cost wasn't all that different to go to #1 whg not just jump all the way up? It's rare that there are #1 overall caliber QBs in the draft and the #1 overall pick is actually available via trade. The biggest issue I had with the trade is including our only proven WR in the trade package to acquire our new QB. DJ and Ickey probably should've been the two guys on the roster who just were not part of any discussions given that we knew we were bringing in a highly drafted rookie QB to groom and build around. But then we stopped playing on paper and in theory and started playing on the field and... well, fug.
  18. Now with that said, I'm not trying to bash Mack. Other than the baffling 4th and 12 decision no one is expecting Mack to get us any Ws with in game tactical brilliance. If you are, you're just not familiar with Mack Brown. Brown was absolutely the right hire at the time. Fedora had Tepper'd the Heels program and we needed someone to come in and right the ship. We just gotta nail the hire on his successor or it'll all be for naught.
  19. Mack has never been a great in game or Xs and Os coach. He's a recruiter and a program builder. But going for that 4th and 12 in that situation instead of taking the easy 3 was just... I mean, WTF was that???
