  1. When you have a noodle with average accuracy, "NFL open" isn't open. If you're gonna make it in the NFL with a subpar arm your anticipation and accuracy have to be ELITE. Bryce has to clean up his footwork to have a chance. His feet aren't ready to throw because he's standing square to the LOS. He has to identify his target, then get his feet set, then deliver a ball with JV HS velocity. It's all too slow. He has to bring his feet and hips with his eyes.
  2. I'm hard pressed to name a QB who took to an NFL field last year who didn't. That's the sad truth.
  3. He might. We'll see. But he's shown a lot more promise than Bryce.
  4. That's part of the evaluation process. That's why it's wildly revisionist to call him the #2 WR prospect ever. It'd be like trying to go back and arguing for Mahomes as a top 5 QB prospect of all-time just because he turned out great.
  5. We'll see. I hope I'm wrong. Honestly didn't watch the video. I'm tired of the talk. Tired of the college highlights. Tired of the "super processor" hype. Just go do it.
  6. Moss was the 21st overall pick and wasn't even the first WR taken in his class. Trying to paint him as the #2 WR prospect ever is some wildly revisionist history.
  7. Remember when Keyshawn Johnson was the 1st WR taken (actually #1 overall) in an absolutely stacked WR class? He was a good NFL WR. No doubt. But he turned out to not even be close to the best WR in that class that also featured guys like Marvin Harrison, Terrel Owens, Joe Horn, Moose, Terry Glenn, etc. This might be the best WR class since then and I could easily see Marvin Harrison Jr. being the Keyshawn Johnson of the class.
  8. I just don't see 4.3 speed on the field. He plays like a high 4.4s type. Which is plenty fast given his size.
  9. I'm not sold on it. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a really good WR prospect but he just seems to me like a typical #1 WR available type. I won't be shocked if he doesn't turn out to be the best WR out of this class.
  10. New ownership loves shiny new QBs. They're going QB.
  11. Just objectively speaking there's zero chance this trade happens. One, we're not gonna move on from Bryce just one year removed from that bold trade up. Two, if the Commanders trade Howell it'll be because they draft a QB at #2 overall in which case they'll be wanting non-QB assets in exchange for Howell.
  12. There's zero chance it'll happen but yeah I'd definitely do it. There's just a lot more upside with Howell than Bryce IMO.
  13. Overall we're not the worst ran team ever, but we are the worst ran team in the league since Tepper bought the team.
  14. Yeah, I'm completely over the big talk about plans. Show me on the field. There's been a LOT of big talk I'm the Tepper era followed by a lot of losing on the field.
  15. We really were. The Jets flat out said after the trade that the Panthers were the only team seriously pursuing Darnold. It is what it is.
  16. In all honesty I just feel bad for PSL holders at this point. That sucks.
  17. Oh wee mayne. Tepper really is just the fuging worst. He really makes it VERY difficult to remain a Panthers fan.
  18. Unfortunately, we can't trade Bryce Young to the Carolina Panthers. We were the only team dumb enough to give up anywhere near that and the Jets came pretty close to outright mocking us for bidding against ourselves in those trade negotiations.
  19. With zero hesitation. You can address turnover issues from a QB pressing too hard on a bad team with an atrocious defense and an OC that puts the burden of the entire offense on a second year player first year starter. You can't fix lack of NFL talent.
  20. Not sure about that. It's not like there's a lack of competition in the fast food burger space.
  21. I'm not sure if it's a lack of confidence. I saw more signs of delusion than lack of confidence. How happy and nonchalant he was in sideline interviews in preseason afternoon preseason after having just been treated like a speed bump was alarming.
  22. They're crazy as hell if they trade Jefferson. Trying to open up space for Kirk Cousins is akin to us trading DJ Moore as part of the package to get Bryce. You're parting with the stud to get the dud.
