  1. Oh poo. Shefter speculating that Rodgers potentially blew his Achilles. That would almost certainly be the curtain call on his career.
  2. Two NY teams are probably gonna get blown out in the primetime games of week one.
  3. Terrible INT from Zach Wilson. The old saying "you don't throw late across the middle" exists for a reason. Hopefully Bryce will stop doing it too.
  4. 4.0 YPC would've been good for 32nd in the NFL among RBs last season. Hw also had a crucial fumble turnover himself. We didn't pay him too FA RB money to be our second best RB.
  5. Jets bust out an 80+ yard run from the shadow of their own goal line.
  6. Yikes, Josh Allen. What was that? At least it was on 3rd down and basically the same as a good punt. That was a flashback to Wyoming Josh Allen.
  7. Oh wee mayne, these NY OLs are awful. Giants and Jets both
  8. Yeah, looked like an ankle sprain to me. The devil will be in the details.
  9. Chuba was definitely our best RB yesterday
  10. So far, the most fitting definition of that "shutdown" moniker for Horn has been his status on Sundays.
  11. We all read all the scouting reports. It's go time. Show me.
  12. Yeah, Manning's arm was good, not elite. Brady's arm seemed to get notably stronger over the course of his career.
  13. Read. I said his arm wasn't elite, it was good. Bryce's arm is average. Peyton's arm in his prime was better than what I've seen out of Bryce. Bryce's arm is in the Mac Jones range.
  14. I think a lot of folks don't recall Manning in his prime because of how diminished he was at the end.
  15. Peyton's arm wasn't elite but it was good. Better than Bryce's. Don't let the old frankenneck version make you forget.
  16. You're kidding yourself if you think Peyton and Eli wouldn't have both gone #1 overall this year. Eli had elite physical tools and Peyton had everything you want except mobility.
  17. Hopefully far enough to get Tepper to sell because at that point I will be convinced that he's turned us into the new version of the Browns and we'll be bottom dwellers for as long as he's the one ultimately calling the shots.
  18. We'll see what the Jets do. Everyone is trying to crown them already but that's yet to be seen. Hard to build the type of roster you need to lure an elite QB if you make a big trade up for a bust. The Niners already had a great roster when they made their blunder then won the lottery landing Purdy.
  19. Yeah, Love sat. That's not the norm in today's NFL though. All the first round rookie QBs this year were week one starters.
  20. If that's what you think. But I'm telling you, if Bryce busts everybody is getting fired and it's another reset minus a landing a Purdy or Howell in the late rounds scenario.
  21. That and there's just no such thing as anything close to a complete roster in the NFL with the hard salary cap. Every roster has weak points and depth issues. I mean, we went 15-1 with a very flawed overall offensive roster.
  22. Yeah, can't say that I was impressed in the least with his play calling.
  23. Yeah, you don't get to pick and choose when you land your franchise QB. When you think there's a chance you just have to shoot your shot. If you swing and miss you're gonna get fired. If you fail to ever swing you're still gonna get fired. Just the way the NFL goes. Not For Long doesn't just apply to players.
