The amount of corporate survivors out there who just hang on cashing paychecks by knowing the right asses to kiss, never rocking the applecart, learning some industry lingo, and just checking boxes is pretty staggering. But that's what the corporate environment rewards. Fug that. Something has gone horrifically wrong for me to ever end up back in the corporate world.

I had to take four years of a foreign language in college. Graduating required getting to the literacy level. I literally read Don Quixote and wrote a five page later on it all in Spanish. I can't order a meal at Taco Bell these days. That was all useless.

It's literally all that matters. It's not like he's going to hit a growth spurt. He's always going to be sub-6'. It's not like he's going to hit the gym and show up built like Kyler Murray or Russell Wilson either. I mean, we should hope not anyway. It's just not how he's built. If he does he's gonna melt the piss cup.

He's gonna look like a slot receiver out there. He always will. Just play better. That's all I care about. His size is what it is.

Exactly. When you suck and there's a major change obviously there's hope there. But the massive hopeful chance failures that have concluded in even worse abysmal failures during the Tepper era have just left me with no appetite for .ore blind hope at this point. I'm just going to sit back and wait and see. I'm done getting emotionally invested in this team's success until I see signs on the field that we might not be a complete poo show anymore. Because I've come to expect a complete poo show from Tepper's Panthers.

Cam talked about that whole situation fairly recently. It sounds like he's completely open to putting that ugliness behind them and rekindling that friendship.

KB is still a huge "what if" for me. Word from everyone that TC he tore his ACL was that he was the best player on the field and second place wasn't even close, that included opposing fans during our joint practices. What if KB doesn't get hit by the double whammy of tearing his ACL and losing his mom? I think we definitely win SB50. I don't think KB would've been great long-term but I could definitely see him being a David Boston type where he was dominant for a brief period but not for long.

Now look at the overall QB situation in the NFC vs. the AFC.

I wasn't a fan of the pick but the guy is going to be easy to root for. Hometown kid who seems like a legitimately good guy and he's country as fug. I like him even if I didn't like the pick.

Dak isn't that good. The Cowboys have had a very good OL and good weapons his entire career. He's largely a product of that. I honestly think he's probably a slightly above average starting QB in a good offensive situation. He's the type of QB that paying him like a legit franchise QB just ties a cap noose around your organization's neck.

To be honest I just haven't been paying attention. I have PTSD from all these shitty Tepper hires. I'm just going to wait and see what takes the field.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Cousins' Achilles rehab isn't going great because the Penix pick honestly felt like a panic move. But then again, the Packers have probably had the best QB play in the NFL over the past 30 years with Favre and then Rodgers and now Love showed great promise last year. They didn't need a QB when they drafted both Rodgers and Love and both guys sat for multiple years. The strategy has been working. Maybe the Falcons are trying to recreate that?

Yeah, he's still gonna be 5'10" with a subpar NFL arm. Can he and Canales find a way to make that work or not? We'll see.

"Winning" the off-season is just something for the pundits to yack about. We'll see how it all plays out on the field.

Yeah, I'm just not sure he's going to be able to adapt to the "noisier" NFL pockets. He'd drop back a mile at Bama to give himself room to see. Just watch those highlights. He's taking the snap five yards deep then dropping back to 9-10 yards deep. You give NFL edge rushers that kind of angle and your OTs don't stand a chance.

Bryce will likely be er be a good downfield passer. His deep ball accuracy wasn't good at Alabama either.

Of course they're gonna finally start making NCAA again now that Carolina has had their two best QBs ever back to back and now they're gone. fuging of course. LOL

You won't find much Swofford support from the UNC fanbase. He was an awful commish.

Yeah, IMO Minshew is a successful late round pick QB. If you can get a good backup/marginal starter in the 6th that's a W. He lacks high level NFL talent but he has that dog in him to maximize what he's got.

Hell, Bryce is basically Minshew minus the swag.

I'm still traumatized by how confident the organization and much of the fanbase was last year after we looked like the hottest of trash in the preseason. I was roundly mocked on here for expressing concern and condescendingly lectured about how real fans understand that preseason doesn't matter and we're gonna start kicking ass when we're actually game planning.
