  1. Indeed. That's what we're working with. That's the sample size. We all hope it'll get better but we all hoped it would get better going into week two as well. It was this same story throughout the preseason. It would be different come the regular season. Okay, so when? Not week one. Not week two. When can a reasonable fan expect to see signs of a functional padding offense?
  2. Well, so far we know that the passing offense looks like trash and That's holding back the overall team. That's what we know. Yeah, we all hope it can be fixed.
  3. I didn't say that. All I responded to was you basically calling someone stupid for suggesting that Fitts might be worse than Hurney. I have zero defense of Marty Hurney but so far, I've seen no concrete evidence to argue that Fitts is better.
  4. I honestly can't say that it is, particularly the offensive passing game. It's BAD.
  5. I go to a game or two a year since moving back to NC but even that seems like too much hassle these days. I'd rather just watch at home where I amcan also watch other games that hopefully provide a better football watching experience.
  6. Where's the evidence to the contrary? Hurney sucked but we did have some sporadic success with him. We haven't accomplished poo so far with Fitts. Real NFL coaching was supposed to unlock the talent on this roster. Through two games it basically just looks like an extension of the Rhule era.
  7. That whole Norman fiasco just gutted the locker room and forced Gettleman to spend half a draft class just trying to patch together a secondary that was held together by Norman. All because he got butthurt and threw a hissy fit and needed to show somebody who's boss.
  8. Something has to change. When everything looks broken and everyone looks bad it isn't because everyone sucks. There are scheming and play calling issues involved too.
  9. Fitts has drafted two 2nd round WRs over the course of three years and they both look like ass. His FA splash signing a this year aren't looking great either. Thielen looks like he's lost a step and that's why the Vikings were ready to move on. Chark is a deep ball specialist and evidently going deep is something we just don't do. It was pretty alarming for Reich to stand up there and straight up say that the play calling isn't the problem. Okay, so what is? What are you doing to address that? Because you low key just threw your whole offense under the bus for just not playing well enough to properly execute your brilliant play calling.
  10. Gettleman's biggest issue was his ego IMO. He had to feel like he was winning the dick measuring contests even if he was cutting off his nose to spite his own face in the process. Doesn't matter. He showed that guy who's boss.
  11. I literally said the play calling sucks and the WR play isn't good.
  12. The play calling sucks, the WRs aren't separating, and the QB play isn't good. The end result is that you have no passing game.
  13. Pete Carroll wanted him to wear a wrist ban and Russ apparently just flat out refused.
  14. The guy could nail 1st round picks but that was all that he was good for.
  15. You're the only one who has resorted to insults. I said you were triggered because you are acting triggered. I assumed you ran out of football logic because you stopped addressing the football replies I made and chose to just resort to personal attacks. What am I wrong about here? If you'd like to actually address my reply, go for it. This was where you came unglued and stopped talking about football:
  16. Yeah, which is why you chose not to actually address my reply and continue to try to make it personal. If you've ran out of football logic that's okay, but don't be mad.
  17. I'm not saying he isn't smart. What I'm saying is that so far his mental acuity has not been able to overcome his physical limitations. We got enamored by a football mind and chose to overlook marginal NFL physical talent.
  18. You're getting triggered by language. What do you choose to call it when a QB is carving a defense up leaning on their pre-snap reads and quick processing after the snap? I choose to call it outsmarting the defense left and right. You can call it whatever you choose.
  19. Built in excuse with Hunter out. Deion won't start freaking out until the spotlight starts shifting off of him and onto others.
  20. https://sports.yahoo.com/panthers-qb-bryce-young-called-100011338.html Just read what Reich and Fitterer say about him. They're completely enamored with his mental capabilities. They gloss over the physical limitations because they're enamored with how brilliant he is on the game of football. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/at-pre-pro-day-dinner-scott-fitterer-became-convinced-bryce-young-was-the-right-choice-for-the-panthers "At one point, (general manager) Scott (Fitterer) and I and Mr. (David) Tepper kind of made eye contact, like, 'This is crazy,'" Reich said. "He got into how he was studying the film, and some of the things he said about that. I looked at Mr. Tepper; he looked at Scott. It was like, this is next-level stuff. "And listen, we've all been around, and we've all heard good stuff. The other guys said good stuff too. But this was just at a level that was different." https://www.nfl.com/news/panthers-frank-reich-didn-t-need-convincing-on-bryce-young-when-you-watch-the-ta
  21. What bullshit? Young was absolutely heralded as a football savant. It's not like we drafted him for his physical tools. Bullshit is you trying to change the subject to Howell and other forums I've never posted on.
