  1. He's been trying to wing it himself while asking for advice from his NFL contacts. It blows my mind how he seemingly is oblivious to the reality that his NFL contacts have zero incentive to helping him succeed. He needs to throw a fat ass check to one of them and tell him to build me a football organization that I can be proud of and then leave him the fug alone and give him a chance to do it without constantly looking over his shoulder and wanting weekly meetings. Just let them do their damn job.
  2. I mean, Tepper was supposedly trying to model us after the Steelers (so was JR) and we see how that's gone. I really wish Tepper would just throw a bag at Kevin Colbert. Not as GM or Team President, just as a consultant to build him a football organization that he'll commit to fuging off and leaving them alone to do their job.
  3. Their secondary is the worst I've seen in the NFL since ours in 2016 after Gettleman yanked the tag from Norman and spammed draft picks in order to field a secondary. It looks like that.
  4. The long time Redskins fans I know (I went to college in Virginia) think Howell is that dude and want to see a new staff and heavy investments on the OL and on the secondary.
  5. It was reported in training camp that it was close to mutiny status. Then they got off to a decent start and things quietened down but then teams dialed his attack and it's been a struggle test sense. It's pretty wild how often a former RB just completely abandons the run despite having a first year starter at QB and an OL that struggles mightily in pass protection. It's pretty baffling.
  6. And just like that, the Bills and Allen go from looking like poo to THAT play. 10-7
  7. Oh, we can throw down on that one sir.
  8. Meanwhile, Josh Allen looks like poo again tonight.
  9. I don't think general NFL fandom really understands how trash Bieniemy has been. Not to mention they've had a typical Rivera OL.
  10. Probably gonna boil down to where they draft and what they think of the prospects available. Either way, they're sitting pretty. They're probably gonna end up with a top 10 rookie QB and trading Howell for decent return or Howell with a shiny new top 10 OT or WR.
  11. Well, damn. Add Easton Stick to the list of QBs who look better than Bryce Young. By the way, who the fug is Easton Stick?
  12. If the Commanders are smart they focus on building around Howell. The Dolphins were straight up mocking Bieniemy's offense post-game and fully admitted the only thing they were concerned about was Howell getting out of the pocket and making plays. Nothing about the scheme or weapons concerned them. If we're smart we have a legit QB competition next year.
  13. I really think that hit changed Brown. Dude seems to have legitimately went crazy and the Steelers knew it and cut bait.
  14. Because I've watched the second year guy since he was a true freshman. I know who he is. I probably watched 7-8 of Bryce's college games and never got the hype. I got roundly mocked on here this past off-season for saying that I didn't see the prerequisite physical talent with Bryce. There was the obvious height/size issue, but I said from the get go that at best his arm talent was NFL average at best and was likely below average. I just didn't see the physical talent from Bryce and unfortunately that has played out so far on NFL fields. I would've loved to have been wrong.
  15. Who has shown more promise and more ability? It's really that simple. I'll ride with Howell. But that's not what you tried to say. You tried to insinuate I do this with every UNC player and it's demonstrably false.
  16. No one not named David Tepper wouldn't trade Bryce Young for Sam Howell straight up right now. One guy has shown NFL level talent, the other hasn't. It's really that simple.
  17. Yeah, because I've been here staunchly defending Trubisky at every step. Oh wait...
  18. Some of us realized at the time that Brady was getting scapegoated. I'm honestly surprised it took him this long to get another shot and I'm not surprised he suddenly had Allen and the Bills' offense looking better. The Panthers have pretty much made the wrong decision at ever given opportunity under David Tepper. I said when we fired Brady that if you gave me a chance to invest in Rhule's NFL future or Brady's NFL future I'd go all in on Joe Brady's.
  19. How is is stupid? I mean, pretty much every QB that takes the field looks better than Bryce Young. It sucks for us, but that's just reality.
  20. There's levels to poor attendance though. Our game vs. the Falcons was attended at regular season small school NC high School game level.
  21. IMO, the best path forward is to bring in someone to legitimately push Bryce while putting the best team around them that we can. Whether Bryce works out or not provide the best path forward. But I don't think you can just hand Bryce the job again. Not after this disaster. There has to be a legit competition. If that's with Dalton honestly I'm fine with that. But you have to force Bryce to win a competition to get team bye in which means you also have to be willing to allow him to potentially lose that competition.
  22. Just don't ask them about QBs. Big Ben was a fluke.
  23. This class has the elite talent that last year's talent lacked but last year's mid-late round talent was DEEP and that was what I was screaming.bibwanted us to focus on other positions with our 2nd rounder and then take two WRs in the 3rd-5th range. That's where last year's class was stacked.
  24. But Tepper won't let him play. If we bring him back that's fine with me.
