  1. I'll probably watch some of that FSU/GT game. Didn't realize that DJ Uiagalelei was FSU's QB. It feels like this dude has been playing college football for half my life for half the teams in the country. LOL
  2. We need change. Because all David Tepper has brought to the Carolina Panthers is consistent losing.
  3. They're gonna have to go nuclear for EVs to have a chance from a power grid perspective. Put an EV or two in every household and the extra demand on the power grid is insane. We don't have the infrastructure to support it. That's the elephant in the room that no one seems to be talking about whole lobbying for EV adoption legislation.
  4. I'm bored and got a sick kid. So here is a game for the game Saturday to find the Huddle Nostradamus. Each correct answer is worth a point. Bryce Young will lead a scoring drive. Yes or No. NO Bryce Young will lead a TD drive. Yes or No. NO Bryce Young will have at least 50 pass yards. Yes or No. NO The Panthers will have at least 1 passing TD. Yes or No. YES Tie Breaker - Exact number of pass yards for Bryce Young 37 Tie Breaker #2 - Exact number of receiving yards for XL 19
  5. Jackson probably was too. This was just two teams swapping trash on the chance that someone else's trash was a better fit for their roster than their current trash.
  6. While we had Seattle on the phone we should've seen if we could've gotten Howell in exchange for Bryce. Calm down, I'm just kidding. Because they would've just laughed at us.
  7. The last Panthers gear I bought was either a Cam or Luke jersey, can't remember if I bought the blue Luke jersey or black Cam jersey last.
  8. Burrow transferred before the portal existed.
  9. I just can't see where he'd have high trade value. We're talking about a guy who has literally missed more games than he's played. He's played in 22 of 51 possible games. He's missed 29. I'd rather keep him and hope he can get over the injury bug versus trade him for a 3rd round pick or something like that. If I'm another team, I struggle to part with much more than that based on the significant injury history. Let's say we keep him and he's a bright spot on a 5 or 6 win team playing in most of not all games. At that point, maybe you can get a 1st for him.
  10. I don't think it's automatically better for the kids. The portal that is. When you can just bounce around getting sold on playing time and being catered to, it's going to stifle some development. You can always take the easy way out versus buckling down and focusing on what you can do to get more opportunities where you currently are. I think about a guy like Danny Green at UNC. A guy like that almost certainly transfers out on this day and age versus being a rotational guy and jack of all trades who went from a top 50 recruit to national champion and a lengthy successful NBA career. I don't know if he develops the all around game transferring to a lesser program to be the go to guy there. The advantage he had is that his role in the NBA was basically exactly what his role was on those top tier UNC teams.
  11. Our best bet might be for him to Dan Snyder his ass right out of the league. Washington had to suffer for a loooooong time though. I just wish they'd moved a little faster so that they would've gotten stuck with Tepper instead of us. Imagine that... going from Dan Snyder to David Tepper. LOL
  12. I do too. I'm fine with it. It's the combo of NIL + unlimited transfers that causes the current cluster fug.
  13. College has always had tremendous turnover with early draft entities and only four years of eligibility anyway. But chewing nails wondering if your favorite players are going to end up playing for a rival next year is going to get old fast.
  14. Portal + NIL basically = pro sports with no contracts. Open free agency with no salary cap following every season. I'm all for the kids getting their piece of the pie but right now it's a complete cluster fug and they may end up killing the golden goose if they don't fix it.
  15. I mean... you're not wrong. Gotta be honest. You ain't wrong. It's not a coincidence that all of a sudden Texas became super relevant again after years of floundering around.
  16. Don't disparage college football like that. LOL
  17. They're just desperately trying to tap into college fanbases to rekindle their own because they realize they've done nothing but drive away the classic Panthers fans. It's why they have an App State all-time great pound the drum. It's why they have Fan Fest at Clemson.
  18. My interest is absolutely at an all-time low. I watched most of our first preseason game and didn't even realize when our second one was on because I flat out didn't care. I paid minimal attention to camp rumblings for the same reason. We'll see what it looks like week one but of we look like microwaved dog poo again I won't wait until midway through the season to tune out this year. I'm not subjecting myself to watching bad football again. I'll watch other games.
  19. DeAngelo had a 1500 yard 18 TD season. It ain't no coin flip.
  20. I don't know what y'all are thinking with JStew. He was a good RB but the guy only had one 1000 yard season in his career.
  21. Yeah, it really doesn't make any sense for them either. Front office and/or coaching staff must be on the hot seat.
  22. I mean, how can anyone be surprised when David Tepper's Panthers do mind numbingly dumb things? That's just oar for the course. You don't just accidentally become the worst franchise in the league. It takes a series of blunders.
  23. $10M on a 33 year old stop gap CB would've been a terrible decision for a team likely to be drafting in the top 10 again.
  24. Worst team in the league acts like they're too good for the preseason while the reigning champs are doing poo like this http://twitter.com/NFL/status/1824906994739786161
