  1. These other teams watch the games too. Would you wanna trade a 4th or 5th for TMJ?
  2. Wouldn't have minded trading a 6th for that starting OG but I'm glad we weren't sellers because the sellers were getting FLEECED today.
  3. It was hard to watch Burrow earlier this year. He was very obviously not even close to being right. He really should've started the season on PUP if not on IR designated to return. I'm glad it didn't backfire and get him seriously injured.
  4. A lot of people assumed it when the hire was made. Kinda like Rhule hiring two former NFL HCs when everyone knew he was on the hot seat.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if Washington's new plan is to build around Howell because if it's not you should've moved him today because you clearly just threw the towel in on the season.
  6. The sellers are getting fleeced. We just need to hold what we've got.
  7. The guy is good. He isn't what he once was but he's a smart, great route runner, with great hands. Moving him to the slot has given him new life. He doesn't have the speed to win on the outside against starting corners anymore but slide him inside against nickels, safeties, and LBs and he can still eat.
  8. For sure. They need to just hand the reins over to Bieniemy and give him a test drive.
  9. If they weren't THE best they were among the best. 11.5 sacks between them.
  10. Yeah, there's no way Ron signed off on this. Having the best pair of edge rushers in the NFL was the only thing keeping a bad defense from being atrocious. Their secondary was already struggling mightily. They're gonna get absolutely LIT UP now.
  11. He is when he's healthy. He just isn't healthy often
  12. Define "improvement". I mean, ending up with 5 wins would still mean a significant improvement down the stretch but yeah, I'd probably still say that this front office needs to go. They made moves thinking they had positioned this roster much better off than reality has proven. We're pretty strapped on draft capital in the short term and are going to have to lean heavily on FA to compensate. These guys' two biggest FA signings this off-season were massive busts and have already lost their starting roles not even halfway through the season.
  13. The Bears trading a 2nd for Sweat definitely isn't overpaying. I honestly thought the Commanders probably should've traded Young instead. He's been their version of Jaycee Horn. Good when available but rarely available. Young could've probably fetched them more on the trade market and he'll be more costly to re-sign to boot. What surprises me is that the Bears were buyers on the market but I guess they are sitting pretty with draft capital right now.
