  1. Bryce is similar to Brees in that they both lack ideal height. But Brees is better at literally everything else, including height and overall size. You don't pay a guy like an elite pass rusher because he talks to people on the sideline. Good grief. What a disaster of a take.
  2. Fitts should've followed Rhule out the door and now we're going to pay dearly for not making that move. He's surpassed Hurney in terribleness at this point and he's challenging Seifert.
  3. Yeah, there are VERY few teams that wouldn't take Josh Allen over their guy with zero hesitation. The dude is elite.
  4. Allen is probably gonna be Favre-ish in that he's going to be a highlight reel but with the highlights are gonna come turnovers. I thought he'd probably clean up that aspect of his game over time but it's been long enough at this point that I think this is who he is. All he's gotta do is get hot at the right time though. The Bills have had a bad habit of peaking way too early. You don't win Super Bowls in October.
  5. We have a bunch of maulers trying to execute a finesse zone blocking scheme and it looks like how you'd expect that to look.
  6. Howell is literally on pace to throw for damn near 5000 yards.
  7. The picks? No. But there are plenty of examples of Bryce having very marginal at best NFL arm strength. When he doesn't have plenty of room in front to step up he really struggles to generate velocity.
  8. Cam looked like he was going to break a lot of records. Injuries derail a lot of guys in this game.
  9. It's pretty wild how often teams get away with false starts these days. You gotta be EARLY early to get flagged. Seems like every team I watch their OTs are getting just the slightest head start on passing plays. Not as bad as that KC RT in week one, but if you're watching for it they're coming out of their stance a hair early on most passing plays.
  10. Smith-Marsette and Blackshear brought some juice in the return game today. Honestly one of the few bright spots today.
  11. Burrow is back healthy again. Dude's a baller.
  12. I honestly think they initially made that trade for Mac Jones and got shook by the media and fan doubt. There was way too much smoke to that rumor for there not to have been some fire there. Jones isn't very good either but if they'd made that pick I think Jones is a little better version of Purdy.
  13. Because we won some meaningless games against bad teams down the stretch last year with a very conservative game plan that wouldn't translate to a full season of success. These guys looked at that and convinced themselves that if we just add a legit franchise QB and an offensive savant we'd be right there. Then they drafted Bryce Young and hired Frank Reich.
  14. I told everyone before the draft that his arm was NFL average at best and that it was my opinion he had a below average NFL arm. But his arm is significantly worse than I thought. When he doesn't have plenty of runway to step up he can't generate any velocity at all.
  15. The Niners actually had what we thought we had which was a roster ready to compete.
  16. Fitts was right on one thing. You have to have conviction to make that move. We just made a really bad bet.
  17. Fleecing Tepper out of millions. That's very appealing. I wonder if I could get AI to write me a resume and get me a crack at it? Hell, I can't do much worse.
  18. After he failed to do anything but show up and do nothing except weigh in then refused to come out of that hoodie. Dude was probably carrying an extra 20 pounds from the buffet and tanked up with water just to weigh in.
  19. Yeah, he would've made a lot less money to still be a guy with marginal NFL talent.
  20. It's getting old watching guys show promise as rookies then either regress or never develop.
  21. I mean, honestly you're not wrong even if you're trying to be a smartass. Everything football related has tanked since Tepper came aboard. He's the root of the problem.
  22. I can't blame a guy for not showing up to tank his stock. Honestly, I don't think it would've mattered anyway. Tepper was smitten.
  23. It's honestly not. He can't help that he's 5'10" 180 with a noodle arm. There's only so much you can make up for. This gaffe is on the talent evaluators.
