  1. Damned if you do damned if you don't. If we didn't, he'd stay healthy and ball out. Now that we have he'll probably play in five or six games per usual.
  2. I didn't pay attention to what Washington did in the off-season but they better do something about that OL.
  3. His footwork needs a lot of work. He's usually back there river dancing. Just look at the clip I posted. His feet are all over the place.
  4. His downfield accuracy was a concern in college too. It was just exacerbated at the NFL level. Most flaws are.
  5. With the clout of being the guy that they traded the franchise to get. Oh man, are we really going to rehash the whole "twin towers" KB/Funchess talking point again? Give me guys who can get OPEN. Open receivers have a much larger "catch radius" than a blanketed bigger guy.
  6. When we did have open receivers downfield and Bryce saw them it usually looked like this https://www.nfl.com/videos/bryce-young-misses-golden-opportunity-for-45-yard-td-pass-to-mingo
  7. This really isn't a topic that the Panthers media wants to bring up. LOL
  8. Who has done that in the Tepper years? That's all I'm talking about.
  9. I don't like the pick but the guy is gonna be easy to root for.
  10. I have to think that Cousins' rehab is really not going well or something. Which would be ironic since they drafted a guy who already has a longer career injury list.
  11. When the Pats were on the clock he had to have been praying the Vikings would pull the trigger on the trade. That's what I was hoping for for him.
  12. Drake Maye was definitely the big loser last night. Definitely walking into the worst situation of the rookie QBs.
  13. Bryce either wasn't seeing "NFL open" or he didn't have the confidence that he could make the throw. I'm not sure which is more concerning.
  14. Oof. WR is one of their biggest needs too. Watch them take a WR with #33. If it plays out like that, then you know that they know that we're just suckers. Take some draft capital from us, watch us take the wrong receiver, then take the receiver of their choice at #33.
  15. This has been a huge issue for us. We've had guys flash some potential but it seems like everyone we draft is as good as they're ever gonna be on the day we draft them. From that point on they either plateau or regress.
  16. I really don't understand what happened with Shenault's ball tracking. I lived in CO during his college career and watched quite a few of his games. Much of his college career was winning downfield jump balls in traffic like some type of damn incredible hulk. CU's QB at the time had a big time arm but no accuracy.
  17. I'm on record saying it's a horrible pick. Now with that said, I'm rooting for the guy. He seems like a good dude and he's country as fug. He's so country he's gotta head back towards town to hunt. I can get down with that. LOL
  18. We need route runners. Guys who can win off the line and get open quickly. Technicians. Then we draft another raw measurables guy.
  19. I honestly don't think he's making the decisions. I don't think Fitterer was either. These guys just have to go up there and try to make sense out of what Tepper is doing. They're just there to take the fall.
  20. We've been obsessed with RAS since Tepper bought the team... and then we drafted Bryce Young. You just gotta laugh to keep from crying.
  21. A 20 year old raw measurables guy is one thing. A 23 year old raw measurables guy who wasn't even on the radar before blowing up in an extra COVID year is a completely different thing. The NFL track record of these extra COVID year guys is awful. Playing as a man amongst boys is a huge advantage that goes away at the next level.
  22. I fell asleep somewhere around pick #29. Man... it's tough being a fan of such a dumb organization.
