  1. Good grief. Allen nearly threw another pick right there. Two Broncos had a better shot at that ball than his guy.
  2. Their problem to ight is turnovers. I don't care how brilliant your scheme and play calling is when you turn the ball over four times that's tough to overcome. Yet they probably still will if they can just avoid turnover #5.
  3. Jeez. Josh Allen is ass this year. I mean, that's rookie QB poo. Staring down the receiver just making it an easy pick.
  4. Man, that was one helluva catch by Sutton.
  5. Id happily go back to simply being good enough often enough to keep things interesting. Being a perennial bottom feeder just sucks. It sucks to suck.
  6. Stay mediocre? Hell, I long for the days of mediocrity at this point.
  7. Gotcha. You just put ridiculous hypotheticals onto others. That's real winner stuff.
  8. I honestly don't care simply because I'm not convinced it matters. Hell, I'm pretty convinced at this point that it doesn't. The names keep changing but the idiocy continues. Sure seems like Tepper is working a lot of puppet strings behind the curtain. I find it difficult to believe that so much personnel changes while we continue to do bafflingly stupid things. There's one common thread here.
  9. We still gloat about this from time to time and it was over a decade ago. We'd still groan about it if we'd botched the pick. And Cam would've probably gone on to have an even better career, but I digress. We may have botched one this bad. We'll see.
  10. I always distinguish between college and pro. There's been plenty of good UNC players that I've been pretty meh on if not completely out on as pro prospects. Not every good college player translates. Hell, most don't.
  11. Honestly, he looks like a bust. Without a top tier supporting cast and system I don't see much path to success with him. Texans fans have to be laughing their asses off and we would be too if the roles were reversed.
  12. If I could have five minutes with Scott Fitterer I would literally just say, "Alright man, Corral over Howell and Bryce over Stroud. Let's hear it. Go."
  13. I knew Howell was gonna be a stud. But I'd be lying if I claimed I predicted hin to be leading the league in passing yardage after week 10 as a 1st year starter.
  14. We had 6 20+ yard attempts in that game. Bryce has 14 in the rest of the season combined. We had 3 20+ yard completions in that game. Bryce has 5 in the rest of the season combined. That was the big difference that day. We had a viable vertical threat to our offense.
  15. I keep going back to Dalton in Seattle, man... Why did the offense look so much different that day? Why did we have more 20+ yard completions that game than we probably have the rest of the season combined? Yeah, we haven't put Bryce in a good situation. No one is trying to argue that we have. But Bryce has done very little to show that he has the physical talent to excel in the NFL. Hell, I don't blame him for that either. That's not his fault. Go slap momma and daddy for that one. But our decision makers have to be able to recognize that.
  16. The whole selling point on Bryce was his NFL readiness. Literally no one would've tried to argue he had higher upside than Stroud or Richardson or Levis for that matter. What is there to develop? He physically maxed out in college. This was the whole concern about Bryce. That he might already be as good as he's gonna get.
  17. It's just ironic that you see people down on Bryce as trying to hide the truth while all the reasons that Bryce isn't a bust yet involve things not related to Bryce because there's nothing in his actual play to hang that hat on. All the hope revolves around creating a perfect situation around him meanwhile we have very limited resources to do so due to the trade to get him. THAT is what is really frustrating people. At this point it's VERY obvious that he's not the type of talent to justify the move that we made.
  18. Meanwhile, the two leading passers in the NFL are a second year player first year starter and a rookie. But let's keep willfully ignoring reality for cope reasons. When an over the hill journeyman comes in and soundly outplays your #1 pick... yikes.
  19. Oh, I'm 99% sure Bryce is gonna bust at this point. Outside of us miraculously falling backasswards into landing top offensive talent around him and a brilliant offensive mind on the sidelines I just don't see any avenue for him to be a good starting NFL QB.
  20. It's not just that Bryce lacks ideal size. It's that he's historically undersized. Nobody on earth actually believes that combine weight was legit. The dude looks a buck eighty tops. He hid all weekend under that hoodie to hide the spare tire he was carrying from porking up to step on that scale so tanked full of water his eyeballs were floating. Then on top of being historically undersized we add on a marginal at best NFL arm and we really have an uphill battle on our hands.
  21. Man, there's some good looking 1st round receivers next year. Harrison Jr., that Washington kid, that FSU kid. They all look like top 15 picks IMO.
  22. This is when people just get mad. That's the part of reality they REALLY don't want to have to deal with. This is where all the whataboutisms fall apart.
  23. Hell, Bieniemy is part of the problem in Washington. The man practically puts the entire offense on Howell's shoulders.
