  1. It's better than the current situation of a completely blown coverage which is what happens if you don't switch it
  2. If the receiver isn't straight up throwing an outright block it just doesn't get called. Defenses have to adjust. Gotta start switching off on picks if you're playing man. And you gotta call out the pick for your teammate. Play it like basketball. It's essentially a basketball play on a football field.
  3. Teams have to adjust to these pick plays. Gonna have to start switching off of picks like in basketball. If you're picked, you play the picker and the free defender takes the man the pick is being set for. Because unless it's just blatant blocking before the pass the refs let the offense get away with it so defenses have to adjust.
  4. It was offsides but I can't believe they missed that DPI. Mr. Swift definitely got interfered with
  5. If Mahomes throws that toward the pylon it's an easy TD. That was just a bad throw.
  6. And Mahomes returns the favor with an awful INT of his own.
  7. Ron gonna Ron. That was one of those classic Ron games where the entire team just looks like utter dog poo in a game they should've never lost in a million years. We were always good for a couple of those a season.
  8. Oh yikes, just an awful throw from Hurts gets picked but AJ Brown might have ripped that out of there for a fumble. I think Brown's leg touched him while he was down though.
  9. Oh look, Rashee Rice. That's a guy we could've drafted. Very effective yards after the catch they say. KC' leading WR. Hmmm... Taken #55. We took Mingo #39.
  10. I don't blame him. He's made plenty of money and has had a helluva career. If they can repeat it wouldn't surprise me in the least of he walks away. I mean, he's 34. It wouldn't exactly be a premature retirement.
  11. Rematch of last year's SB. It's in KC but these conditions seem to heavily favor the Eagles.
  12. Just different games. Those dudes usually end up getting taken care of by boosters. Now with NIL money those types of guys will end up making REAL money. Honestly, the college game is just flat out more entertaining than the NFL right now. There's a lot of bad football being played in the NFL right now.
  13. Just different games. The Golden Calf of Bristol was as college elite as they come, his game just didn't translate to the NFL. You're looking for physical traits with the right mentality in terms of projecting to the NFL. Bryce just didn't have any of the physical traits. The Golden Calf of Bristol didn't either in terms of arm. He had average NFL arm strength with well blow average NFL accuracy. He was basically a power RB who threw enough to keep defenses honest.
  14. Nah, he was definitely college elite. But college elite just doesn't always translate. Bryce is the type of classic Heisman winner who is a great college QB but everyone with working vision who isn't trying to formulate a narrative they like can see that he's physically maxed out and will be severely physically limited in the NFL and ends up being a mid-late round pick when someone takes a flyer on him just in case he somehow finds a way to recreate the magic knowing he almost certainly won't.
  15. Didn't read through the thread but the ratings in the original post scream this should be a power running offense with play action setting up the passing game. And Zavala probably shouldn't be on an NFL roster. I liked that pick but holy poo he's been awful.
  16. Zach Wilson just got benched again in NY going from starter to 3rd string with a stat line eerily similar to Bryce's. Former UDFA Tim Boyle out of Eastern Kentucky will be the new starter. Former 7th round pick out of Northwestern Trevor Siemian will be the backup.
  17. Just stick with Reich and handle everything on Black Monday. It's not like these mid-season coach firings have accomplished anything other than some meaningless wins last year that ended up just costing us a bunch of draft capital to trade up.
  18. You're reading too much into what I was saying. All I'm saying is that the situation proved Tepper was lying. He didn't fire Rhule to give Wilks a legit shot. He fired Rhule because he finally got tired of being humiliated by the entire football world for making a dumb hire, giving the dumb hire a TON of money and more importantly in the football sense a ton of organizational power. The ruse of giving Wilks a legit shot was just a cover for not admitting that you're just yanking the rug because you finally got embarrassed enough to do so when the entire football world knew Rhule should've been fired the prior off-season.
  19. I liked Fields as a prospect and he's shown some flashes but at some point they gotta bite the bullet and move on and let someone else take a shot at salvaging Fields.
  20. At least they'll be there. We can't say poo. We're in the midst of a sixth straight losing season.
  21. Yeah, if the Bears had it to do over again they would've drafted Stroud too.
  22. If he looked like this? Yeah. Y'all forget, there's been plenty of guys come out of UNC that I haven't been high on as NFL prospects.
  23. Why did they all most what seemed so obvious? What caused them to overlook the obvious physical limitations and convince themselves Bryce could be an elite NFL QB? Bruce looks like the historical Heisman QBs that everyone praised as a great college QB but then just chuckled when the NFL was mentioned and said, "C'mon now. Be serious. Dude ain't an NFL QB."
