  1. Tepper might have to offer elite QB money to a coach to get anyone sought after.
  2. Wouldn't surprise me. Tepper changes coaches like they're underwear. The part he doesn't comprehend is that he's made these jobs utterly toxic and no one with other options wants anything to do with them. That's why we have Canales and Morgan. No one else was considering those guys for those level positions. Our lists have to begin where everyone else's lists end.
  3. It just signaled what most of us had already come to realize anyway. David Tepper is basically the GM and the GM is just his secretary to do all the paperwork and day to day BS. When it comes to the actual key decisions, those are Tepper.
  4. I mean, some of us pretty much said all this and we're just dismissed as Bryce haters or negative Nancies or whatever.
  5. I guess"it's too early to say right now" meant nothing. LOL
  6. Darnold has always looked pretty good in short spurts. His issues arise once other teams get tape to study on him within a system. That's when typical Darnold emerges.
  7. There's no choice in the matter. We fuging suck. We are tanking no matter what.
  8. The footwork and mechanics just don't matter. Those are things that come into play if you have the prerequisite talent. Bryce lacks the prerequisite talent. Give him textbook mechanics and he still can't perform.
  9. I watched until halftime basically out of morbid curiosity. That was all I could take though.
  10. I think Reich basically mailed it in when it became obvious we were drafting Bryce.
  11. Had Shaheed not tripped on the turf monster, sure. But that's why you don't quit on plays.
  12. Horn clearly expected help over the top. Horn also clearly quit on the play after the catch was made and had he not would've likely been able to tackle the stumbling receiver short of the goal line.
  13. Tepper can't rage fire another coach in his first season. He just can't. He's already made working for him the hardest sell in the league. Rage fire another coach mid-season and guys are just gonna start telling their agents to cook up a plausible excuse for them to turn down interviews. I don't want to risk getting an offer.
  14. Given the investment we had to make in Bryce, I think he has easily surpassed Clausen as the biggest QB disaster in franchise history. In the grand scheme of things, Clausen was really just a bust of a 2nd round pick (par for the course for the Panthers) and had a terrible season but that terrible season got us the #1 overall pick and and an MVP QB in Cam Newton so honestly even though he was individually atrocious he played his part in the overall arc of the franchise. Now we need Bryce to play us into position to hopefully get us our next franchise QB.
  15. These guys aren't making the decisions. They're literally just being paid to rubberstamp Tepper's decisions. I cannot be convinced at this point that actual professional football people, even if they're in positions that are over their heads, are actually making the decisions that result in a football organization and an overall team that is this bad. Tepper is a narcissistic egomaniac. His failures are convincing him to be less involved. That's just not how that type of brain is wired. The problem is he's not involved enough. That's the type of delusion were saddled with.
  16. I honestly think it's the worst NFL team I've ever seen. I don't think the Saints are good. We're just THAT bad that a mediocre NFL team just boat races us like they're the greatest team of all time.
  17. Someone needs to organize an intervention. Like, dude... the only common thread left in this whole debacle is you. It's a YOU PROBLEM. You are the problem. If you want to ever enjoy watching a respectable football team, you have to get all the way the fug out of being involved in the football decisions.
  18. Bryce isn't an NFL caliber QB but Bryce didn't give up 47 points either. That D was flaming hot trash today. Not sure if the 2015 Super Bowl offense led by MVP Cam Newton would've been able to put up enough points to compete today.
  19. Or... on the flip side, maybe we just draft the biggest asshole in the draft because we're probably ruining his career so might as well be a gigantic asshole so that at least we aren't ruining a decent guy's hopes and dreams.
  20. Too early to say right now but Cam Ward is putting himself in the conversation.
  21. His biggest problem is he's simply not an NFL talent. His accuracy wasn't that great on college either. Go back and watch his highlights. A lot of wide open receivers making adjustments to balls that would not be completed against typical NFL windows.
  22. I never bought the Falcons being anything so I'm not necessarily surprised by that one but the Bengals losing to the Pats only scoring 10 points is a stunner.
