  1. Oh wow. Never forget one of the peak moments of shamelessness we've seen in sports.
  2. I want Tepper to marinate in the utter embarrassment of handing the Bears #1 overall as just part of the haul we traded to get to #1 overall last year. This is going to end up on a very short list of the worst trades in NFL history with Stroud looking like a future HOFer. If the Bears knock one out of the park at #1 and Bryce keeps looking like a guy who doesn't belong on an NFL football field it might end up taking the crown.
  3. Somebody post up a link to it in its entirety once it's over. I could t tune in live but I do want to see this poo show.
  4. And we even fuged that one up. Hindsight being 20/20, the obviously correct play was to sign Reddick long-term freeing us up to take the haul from the Rams for Burns.
  5. The only way I'll come out of it positive if he publicly swallows his pride and commits to staying the fug out of football operations moving forward beyond hiring and firing decisions. Day to day football operations, roster decisions, draft decisions, scheme decisions, etc. just stay the fug out. He wouldn't be asking a football coach or front office personnel to help him analyze a hedge fund portfolio so butt out of their business. That's what they do. Your experience and past successes clearly have no translated to football. Let football people make football decisions.
  6. I'm not out yet. There's a chance we could put a top flight OL in front of him with top 5 weapons around him and he still turns out to be decent. Yeah, I'm out.
  7. Fields to DJ Moore for 36 yards gets them in cheap shot FG range. Barring something wild the Bears are gonna win this one kicking four FGs.
  8. Let's see if he can redeem himself. They're gonna get one more crack at it. But the inconsistency and critical mistakes are just too much. Gotta give someone else a chance to resurrect his career and move on.
  9. If the Bears were undecided on QB or not at #1 tonight might have sealed it. They gotta move on. Only three points off of four turnovers. Back to back drive ending fumbles from Fields on the last two possessions with the game in the balance. It'd be one thing if it was a fluke but it's not.
  10. OMG, a Bears CB goes down leaving a Vikings WR open by 10+ yards deep downfield and Dobbs leads him out of bounds. That's just awful.
  11. Now Fields gets strip sacked in FG range. What an ugly game. This is definitely not one of those games that might not suck because this game sucks.
  12. The wheels are falling off for Dobbs tonight. That's pick #4 and he had a would be pick six dropped. 16/25 for 99 yards and 4 INTs, plus the aforementioned dropped INT.
  13. When are the Bears gonna take a shot? The Vikings are blitzing their asses off and squatting on routes because the Bears are basically running our offense tonight. Zero vertical threat. If they'd pick their shot and go max protect and run a stop and go I bet the guy would be wide ass open.
  14. I know as a defender you're hardwired to intercept it if you can but they're going for it on 4th and 3. All you did was cost your team yardage not knocking that deflected pass down.
  15. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't lobbying to GTFO of here. He and the team say he wasn't but all the sitting out with relatively minor nagging injuries and then getting traded for not a great return to a contender and then suddenly getting a lot more durable (like I predicted)? It all just adds up to feeling like he forced his way out of here. For the record, I was 100% onboard with trading CMC. We needed a QB and we needed draft capital. We just fuged it up like we have everything else under Tepper.
  16. It certainly was based on what we turned the haul into. The 2nd was a minor part of the trade for #1 for Bryce. The 3rd and 4th we turned into DJ Johnson via trade up. We still have a 5th next year. That better be a Sam Howell level 5th rounder.
  17. A lot of posters claim I'm crazy for saying the college game is better right now but it is. By miles.
  18. Has there been a single major move we've made under Tepper that has actually been a good move? Seriously. It's very lopsided to the negative that's for damn sure.
  19. It's one of the smallest markets but definitely not THE smallest. Jacksonville probably takes that crown. Nashville is also a smaller market. Green Bay has a massive fanbase but that's a tiny market, easily the smallest now that I think about it. No one outside of the immediate region would have ever heard of Green Bay if the Packers weren't there. Vegas is a smaller market. Smaller metro area than Charlotte and there's not a damn thing for hundreds of miles outside of the immediate metro area. KC is a smaller market. Buffalo is a smaller market. There's probably others but that's just off the top of the head.
  20. Well, Dobbs got lucky there. That should've been a pick six and it was because he was staring his receiver down and was late on the throw.
  21. Interceptions like that should NOT count against the QB. When you hit your receiver in the chest it ain't your fault. Tough break for Dobbs.
  22. Yeah, Fields hasn't found consistency with them and they have been consistently bad with Fields. It might be best for both parties to have a fresh new start. But I'll believe the Bears are gonna find a good QB when it actually happens. The Bears just seemed destined to have mediocre to poor QB play no matter what.
  23. The money isn't the huge investment we made with Bryce. It's the draft capital.
