Plummer and Bryce are about the same which is pathetic since one was the #1 overall pick and the other a UDFA -
But if you don't play them you lose them to the portal anyway.

He got the program out of the gutter and back to middling level but it looks like he has put us right back in the gutter again. The point of bringing Mack back at his age was to get the program back on track but I fear we waited too long to try to shift to a long-term option.

Louisville fielded one of the best defenses in the ACC last year with two UNC transfers starting in the secondary. They gave up huge plays at UNC. It's not a talent issue. It's not a positional coaching issue either. I thought it was Dre Bly's fault. He's gone now and it got even worse.

LOL But seriously, I bet he was asked to put on weight, given specific footwork issues to work on, stuff like that. Then showed up same as last year.

UL Monroe will be more competitive tonight than UNC has been against JMU. Or App was against South Alabama. Or State is against Clemson. NC has never been a good college football state but this might be an all-time low. Our squads are just getting fuging boat raced. No way to sugarcoat it.

Looking at UNC, State, and App maybe the entire UNC system needs to just call it quits with football. Or maybe they have and just forgot to announce it.

Then stop. Criswell has actually been playing well. The D is getting absolutely boat raced. We haven't covered a receiver yet. The toughest decision this JMU QB is facing is picking which wide open receiver he's gonna throw to.

Are you high? The issue isn't anything to do with offense. The issue is we are allowing multiple receivers to streak down the field completely uncovered on every snap on defense.

I think it was less Tepper mandating it and more Tepper finally relenting and allowing it. I've always maintained that I think what caused Reich to be fired midseason was likely him going to Tepper and saying something along the lines of "Either let me play Dalton and give this team a chance to compete or just go ahead and fire me now."

Yeah, done with this game. Not gonna continue to watch receivers just streaking down the field wide open every play. I could be playing QB for JMU today and putting up video game stats.

Not surprised. When Tepper moves on he tends to turn the page and turn it hard. I have a feeling he was given a number of things to work on in the offseason and showed up clearly haven done none of them.

I feel like Mack needs to try a different overall approach to defense. Trying to wear out the opposing offense by allowing them to run wild up and down the field isn't effective
