Looks like a weak QB draft and that's their big need going forward. Penix regressed big time after looking promising as a rookie and now has to recover from a third ACL injury. They can't plan on him long-term and Cousins is 37 so that's not long-term either.

Oof. The announcer is making a compelling case that the Rams might be tanking this game to draw the NFC South champ in the wildcard round vs. having to go to Philly or Chicago.

The wrong two teams are playing for the division crown. The Saints and Falcons are easily better than us and the Bucs right now.

Where are the rankings that had Corral rated much higher than Willis? I don't recall that at all. Corral didn't flop here, he flopped period. He was a 3rd round pick who never suited up for an NFL regular season game. That's abysmal.

If we could trade him for a 5th or better I would I just don't think anyone would offer it. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the final roster next year.

Also the fact that his blunders tend to be magnified because they tend to occur when we're competing in games we honestly probably shouldn't be. Every year I hear about this "building winning culture" when we're tanking our draft position with late season wins. I don't think getting dog walked by a legit playoff team at home in the wildcard round is gonna do much for establishing winning culture.

I think the focus is on the NFC South because the two teams contending for the title are the two teams absolutely floundering down the stretch. The Falcons and Saints are clearly better teams right now than us and the Bucs but it is what it is.

I loved it. Bryce has had quite a few games where he could've posted a stat line similar to yesterday's but then we get an opportunity like we had yesterday to put together a garbage time drive dink and dunking against prevent D and then the end result ends up looking like a run of the mill bad game from your QB instead of what it actually was which was a Jimmy Clausen-esque "this guy obviously doesn't belong on an NFL field" showing.
