  1. Compared to someone with Bryce's money, yeah most everyone here is flat broke in comparison.
  2. The S2 and the "arm elasticity" talking point might not survive Bryce.
  3. Yep. Exactly. The kid will always be a Heisman winner and has a ton of money in the bank. Yeah, he'll go down as one of the worst NFL busts ever but I imagine he'll manage.
  4. Oof. Brutal pick six from Levis.
  5. Though honestly a good argument could be made for Thielen. Our passing attack is horrifically bad but without Thielen it would be practically non-existent.
  6. I'd say Evero. The D has been decent despite a revolving door of players due to injuries.
  7. Tonight's MNF double header does not look extremely intriguing.
  8. Just cashing those checks. "Loss Monday" is just plain old Monday in Panthersdom
  9. Something something about he doesn't need elite weapons because super processor PG mentality
  10. OL play across the league is so bad that it definitely feels like they're getting some very lenient officiating. On a lot of games is watch the OTs are taking off just a hair early on practically every passing play. If I'm a DL coach I'm coaching my edge rusher to stop playing off the snap. Don't look at the ball to try to get a jump on the OT off the snap. These guys are leaving early. Go off the OT not the ball. If you go off the ball he's going to be well into his set by the time you engage him.
  11. We're definitely contending in the division IMO and Frank and company are still here. Don't get me wrong, I still don't think we'd be a good team but we'd be in the mix in a bad division. Then we'd be talking about guys like McCarthy, Penix, possibly Jayden Daniels, etc. as possibly long term QB options. Long story short, we'd be in a helluva lot better spot.
  12. Don't get me wrong. I'm not fan of Saban in the least, I just put zero blame on him for the Panthers' talent evaluation blunder.
  13. What I'm saying is that I just don't see the potential to turn it around.
  14. Based on what? How many of these "flashes" have there been? Seems to me that for every flash play that makes you think we might have something to work with there's at least ten plays that leave you shaking your head thinking there's no way this guy is ever gonna make it in the NFL. And honestly, the flashes are graded on a curve. Not the type of #1 overall or 1st round type prosect flashes you're normally looking for, simply flashes of NFL competence like you'd be looking for out of a late round pick trying to earn a roster spot.
  15. Why fug Saban? His job is to field a winning college football team and few have done it better. Of course he's going to speak positively of his prospects, it helps him recruit when they get drafted highly. Being mad at Nick Saban or Bryce Young for doing all they can to maximize his draft status is akin to the Chiefs being mad at the ref for throwing a flag on their WR who was obviously lined up offsides. The anger is understandable, but misdirected. We should be mad at the dumbass Panthers for being duped, not Bryce and his camp for seeking to maximize his draft stock just like the Chiefs should be mad at their dumbass WR for lining up offsides.
  16. The bad (and you can definitely call it that) thing is, David Tepper is definitely one of them.
  17. I'm honestly not big on Penix as an NFL prospect. I'm intrigued by McCarthy st Michigan.
  18. Tepper's probably the blindest Bryce defender of all. He'll just keep blaming anyone and anything else for the failure.
  19. Put the best tools around Bryce that we can and if he Pickles us to a top pick in '25 then hope we choose wiser next time.
  20. I honestly think our offensive issues are more due to Bryce's issues than Bryce's issues are due to our offensive issues. Hopefully that reads right.
  21. He's not just regressing, he's regressing HARD. He was limited from the get go, but now he's limited and the NFL knows it.
  22. If he pushed to sign Sanders he honestly deserved to get fired on merit. My Eagles fan buddy told me there was nothing special about Sanders. He was just a JAG in a great running offense behind a great run blocking OL. Basically the RB version of Brock Purdy. It's wild how often hardcore fans of teams can see things that the professionals overlook.
  23. Same. Reich knew he was coaching for his job. It makes sense he'd want to bench Bryce. McCown was working with him everyday watching his mechanics get worse. It makes sense he'd want to bench Bryce to focus on mechanics without worrying about playing. Staley was watching his RBs struggle to find any room because opposing DCs were stacking the box because Bryce can't effectively throw downfield. It makes sense that he'd want to bench Bryce.
  24. He really didn't look better with Dalton. Dalton was under heavy pressure in Seattle he just stood in there and fired the ball downfield anyway like an actual NFL QB. He looked better with Darnold because we transitioned to a power running play action passing offensive attack.
