  1. That legitimately looked like Madden just with Xs and Os instead of actual graphics. We drafted a guy in large part because he was better at video games. Lordy mercy.
  2. Post-Halloween he's been scarily close to Pickles bad. No joke.
  3. Because Lance and Jimmy G flat out suck. No one is saying Purdy sucks. He's just in an ideal situation.
  4. I will pony up $8 to buy one of y'all a ticket if you'll commit to showing up in a clown suit wearing a David Tepper mask. I'll buy two of y'all tickets if the other one will show up in a clown suit wearing a Bryce Young jersey. I'll buy three of the third will show up wearing an Ickey jersey using foam pool noodles painted up to look like a turnstile.
  5. I said it leading up to the draft. For him to generate velocity or depth in his throws he needed a practical airport runway to step into his throws. That opportunity rarely presents itself in the NFL. It was a huge concerns. Huge concerns translating to the NFL we're all over his college tape. I have no idea why so many folks missed them or simply refused to acknowledge them.
  6. Match made in heaven. BOA fugs their customers too. https://www.npr.org/2023/07/11/1187060652/bank-of-america-250-million-illegal-fees-fake-accounts-fines#:~:text=Bank of America%2C the nation's,without customers' knowledge or permission. Ben Dover Field indeed.
  7. It's no one's fault but Tepper and the Panthers. No one held a gun to their head. A draft prospect and their team's job leading up to the draft is to maximize their draft status.
  8. Probably have better odds striking it rich buying scratch off tickets down at the corner store.
  9. Hell, I was wrong about Bryce too. Despite having Richardson and Stroud as my 1a and 1b I convinced myself to be okay with Bryce if that's what our brain trust landed on. I trusted them to pick the best prospect despite my reservations about Bryce's physical talent. I mean, if they and all the professional talking heads all thought Bryce would translate them surely I have to be wrong so if Bryce is the pick I'm begrudgingly onboard despite my serious reservations which were roundly mocked on here. "LOLOLOL!!! Yeah, no one else sees this but you! What a dumbass!!!" Then preseason happened. Uh oh. This looks like what I was afraid it was gonna look like based on what I saw out of Bryce in college. "LOLOLOL!!! Serious fans know that preseason doesn't matter. Just you wait until we start game planning. Bryce gonna be carving the league up. What a dumbass!!!" Well, I sure hope so, but I'm struggling to see franchise QB talent here. Then the regular season started. He throws two awful staredown late across the middle INTs in week one. Looks bad again in week two. Doesn't play in week three after a phantom ankle injury no one saw in live action and Andy Dalton plays way better. Uh oh. Bryce comes back in week four and still looks like Bryce. UH OH. Then post-Halloween happens when Bryce has been the worst QB in the league during the second half of the NFL season. Now I'm struggling to see NFL roster caliber QB talent. But I'm the dumbass. Hell, I wish I had been because this fuging sucks. I'd be a lot happier eating delicious crow watching a franchise QB that I was wrong about.
  10. I don't think anyone can really crack down on Tepper's golden child. Bryce is fine. It's everyone and everything else about the Panthers that's the problem. Tepper and like six fans truly whole heatedly believe that.
  11. This is absolutely impossible to ignore. All across the league we've watched backups and third stringers come in and look hands down better than Bryce, even on bad teams. But the cope brigade never runs out of excuses.
  12. It really just depends. Find the right coach/QB combo and things can turn around FAST. Just look at Houston now vs. a year ago.
  13. There's nothing strange about it. The red flags on his arm talent were all over his college game tape of you were evaluating him as an NFL prospect. Y'all called me an idiot all off-season for questioning his physical talent.
  14. People keep trying to do mental gymnastics but the reality is that a lot of our offensive struggles boil down to Bryce sucks.
  15. The world in which you understand what you're looking at. It was all there to see in his college play.
  16. Pickett. Simply because we'd still have next year's 1st. They're both trash.
  17. Only folks who don't watch the games and consider PFF to be the Holy Bible think that SF has a bottom five OL.
  18. Everyone knows I'm a massive Heels fan. Heels > Panthers all day everyday. Just the way it is. But I detected no lies. I pissed off a lot of Carolina fans for saying this time last year that Drake should take the SEC bag and transfer. It was in his best interests. I'm gonna do it again this year. Omarion Hampton should take the bag and transfer. Imagine him running behind a Georgia or Alabama OL. If we have a significant drop off in QB play (virtually guaranteed, getting Howell/Maye caliber QBs back to back is just unheard of for UNC level programs) and we're also losing our #1 WR, it's very possible he's looking at at a lot of stacked boxes next year. With the devaluation of the RB position in the NFL, RB draft stock can be a very fickle thing. A QB that checks every prototype box like Maye can have a drop off and still be an elite prospect. A RB can't. Mack should do the right thing and retire. If he doesn't he should be forced out. His age is a huge hurdle to overcome in recruiting and his team has regressed over the course of the season every year. He's just too old to do the job at this point. He accomplished what he came here to do which was get the program out of the gutter and rebuild recruiting pipelines. Mission accomplish. Ride off into the sunset to the beach house now.
  19. It'll fix itself when the "COVID year" phases out.
  20. Let's tear apart the things that are good on the roster to double down on a tragic mistake. Brilliant. But it wouldn't be at all surprising if that's Tepper's mindset right now. I mean, Dave... would you sell your good performing stocks to buy more of a stock that's cratering and not just cratering but cratering because the basic fundamentals behind the stock are disastrous? Well, this would be the football equivalent of that.
  21. I don't think Dak is a game manager, I just think he tends to run hot or cold. I mean, if we're being fair Cam did too. Lots of QBs do. Jalen Hurts does. Every time I watch the Eagles Hurts either looks like a surefire MVP or a guy who needs benched. Seems like there's nothing in between.
  22. I think we bring in a decent vet. Someone like Tyrod Taylor or Jacoby Brissett or Gardner Minshew to "compete" with Bryce. I say "compete" because I'm not convinced Tepper will let him lose.
  23. Yeah, he does. Yeah, Brad Johnson's kid. Honestly haven't seen him play before so I don't really have an opinion.
  24. He's another serious arm strength question for me. He throws a really floaty ball. Helluva college QB but I'm honestly not big on Penix as an NFL prospect
  25. It's hard to believe but I'm serious.
