  1. If they lose to the Bucs it's gonna be ugly. But I wouldn't be shocked. I would honestly expect them to lose to any playoff team not the Bucs. They have backed into the playoffs hard.
  2. It comes down to consistency with Hurts. Seems like every time I watch him he either looks like an MVP or a guy who needs to be benched and nothing in between.
  3. The loaded teams just make it a much harder evaluation IMO. You gotta try to envision what this guy would look like if the talent surrounding him wasn't hands down better than the opposition week in and week out and that's tough.
  4. It wasn't one game. He's been downright bad his last three games. 4 TDs vs. 5 INTs over his last three. Under 200 yards twice with 237 being his best yardage of the three. Those are Bryce numbers. He was red hot pre-Halloween but he really tailed off post-Halloween. Post-Halloween he has 13 TDs vs. 8 INTs and only one 300 yard game. He's thrown for less than 250 yards in 7 of those 10 games. He looked like a potential MVP pre-Halloween but post-Halloween he was average at best and over the last three he looked like a backup.
  5. Nope. He required extra scrutiny too. We just got it wrong like we have virtually every key decision during the Tepper era.
  6. I think this was the spin from when the media was convinced that Tepper was some kind of hedge fund wunderkind savant who was in the process of outsmarting the other NFL owners. Now it's being realized that Tepper is a football moron and he very well may have been the hand picked next man up in the good old boy's club because he was an insanely wealthy person with a huge desire to own a team who was a football moron. What a perfect owner of an NFL team if you're one of the other 31 owners.
  7. QBs coming from dominant programs warrant a lot of extra scrutiny. They're enjoying a huge advantage that they won't have at the next level. Namely that their surrounding talent won't be head and shoulders better than the opposing team's week in and week out.
  8. No, you very much have to draft on tangibles. Intangibles is what convinced so many people that Bryce was an elite prospect when all of the measurable tangibles were screaming late round pick or UDFA.
  9. He's the best version of Bryce. Bryce is a poor man's Tua.
  10. Tua is basically Teddy Bridgewater in the ideal system with elite surrounding talent. And that's Bryce's absolute ceiling.
  11. Tua really did go full Bryce tonight. Bruh, you really gonna throw the ball six yards on 4th and 16? GTFO.
  12. Oh goddamn it, a Clete Blakeman sighting. Maybe get fuged the death by an abnormally hung horse.
  13. Oh, the Bills. I missed a game. Since I'm 2-0 through 2 let me clarify. LOL!
  14. Did they say Miami had 18 yards in the 2nd half? Bryce Tuavailoa indeed. LOL! This is over.
  15. Ugh. I really hate those types of roughing calls. Especially when I watched SB50.
  16. Average is a little high but everything else checks out.
  17. This is the Dolphins on cold weather. Everything about the Dolphins screamed this. The fact that they're Miami based, their offensive system and style. As soon as I saw the weather forecast this game was a lock.
  18. The Dolphins' redzone D has been on point tonight. It's the only thing that's keeping them in this game.
  19. They're really gonna just let Mahomes keep playing with a completely shattered helmet? Now they're stopping it.
  20. Jawaan Taylor is fuging terrible and he's in the first year of a 4 year $80M contract. That was a massive FA swing and a miss from KC.
  21. Bryce has certainly given the S2 test a massive black eye. At the end of the day, you HAVE to have the physical prerequisites. There's a lot of former player coaches who weren't much as players but are clearly very smart and have a great understanding for the game. They had it between the ears, they just didn't have the physical tools to translate it. It's damn hard to determine the guys who will be able to read an NFL defense pre-snap, then either confirm or reject their initial read and assess the defense in a split second as utter chaos happens around them, then deliver a frozen rope 40 yards to a just barely open receiver while a 300 pound freak athlete is mere feet away from pile driving you into the turf. The full package is very hard to evaluate. But it's not that hard to determine if the guy has the ability to simply make the throw. That's why the Bryce evaluation was so baffling.
  22. Yeah, Dolphins definitely got away with a blatant grab there.
  23. Their first sub-40 degree win was against the Bears in week 17 of 2002. They were 0-21 prior to that.
