  1. Yeah, I don't want to force anything. Forget going into the draft with the plan to definitely draft a QB in the first. You don't do yourself any favors reaching on need. If the right fit isn't there I'm perfectly fine with adding a developmental guy after the first. We need multiple QBs. We need a starter and we need a backup. There's just not gonna be any energy in this fanbase as long as we keep trotting Bryce out there pretending that he's a starting QB. There will start to be hope again as soon as it's clear that we're turning the page on the whole Bryce thing.
  2. Gotta sign a decent FA and add another one in the draft. Don't force anything but if the right guy is there in the 1st don't hesitate. Bryce ain't it.
  3. I guess they didn't get the message.
  4. Id rather watch Rico run the wildcat than another game with Bryce or Dalton playing QB.
  5. Literally everything you just typed is completely incorrect. Shingles can only effect people who have previously had chicken pox because it's caused by the same virus that lies dormant in your system and can be reactivated later in life. The chicken pox vaccine wasn't available in the U.S. until 1995 and wasn't available anywhere until 1988 so no one was vaccinated for chicken pox in the 1960s. The shingles vaccine wasn't available until 2006.
  6. Maybe Tepper just needs a good massage.
  7. Yeah, as a Heels fan I love it for Drake but dammit... LOL
  8. Damn. The Pats leading the pack with an elite QB on a rookie contract and a 6-2 record? Must be nice.
  9. I have no ill feelings toward Dalton. Hell, I have no ill feelings toward Bryce or Pickles or Armanti Edwards or anyone this organization has terribly overspent on. That's a complaint toward the organization. All I ask from players is to come in, out in the work, be open to coaching, etc. By all accounts all of those guys were/are. They either weren't good enough or in Dalton's case just over the hill and completely washed up. I ain't mad about a guy cashing a check offered to them. I would too.
  10. I guess reddit is where people like this hang out?
  11. Why you quoting me saying nobody wanted to listen? I was always onboard with picking T-Mac.
  12. I'm okay with it. I mean, anyone in a PS in October isn't very good. We haven't been able to rush the passer all year and then this week we were atrocious against the run too. It's not like we'd be taking snaps away from pass rushers. You got a be able to do something. If you can't stop the run and you can't rush the passer then you're gonna get 40 hung in you. That's the case at any level of football be it NFL, college, HS, whatever.
  13. We're playing the way we have to play on offense with our QB room.
  14. Yeah, if you're gonna make a move like that it needs to be for a guy who checks every box down the line. And honestly, the last guy who did that is still looking very mid himself down in Jacksonville. There's no such thing as a sure thing in the NFL draft.
  15. Everybody says Evans but I think they're too caught up in height. Mike Evans is an absolute beast. He's basically prime David Boston except he didn't derail his career with weight issues. He absolutely physically overwhelms people. That's not T-Mac. T-Mac's size is an asset but it's honestly secondary to his route running, sneaky speed, and natural body control.
  16. You don't have to convince me of that. I've watched Bryce the super processing PG mentality wizkid play 30+ NFL games.
  17. I'll never be convinced that Reich wanted anything to do with Bryce. As soon as we zeroed in on Bryce and it was obvious he was going to be the pick it just seemed like the wind went out of his sails and he was just like "fug it, I'm just gonna go through the motions until they send me packing". I still just want to know whether he was led to believe he'd have more sway in the QB decision or if he just felt that he'd be more persuasive in his arguments and be able to get his way.
  18. He's talking about Bryce's rookie season. I'm done talking about his rookie season. A lot of the issues have been addressed and Bryce still looks like his ceiling is low level game manager. He just has too many physical shortcomings to overcome and the frustrating thing is that seemed blatantly obvious to me and many others on here coming into the draft. You just can't recreate Saban-era Alabama in the NFL where you have a talent advantage at nearly every position across the board almost every game.
  19. The similarity is that Shedeur is still gonna be Shedeur. Major distraction with marginal NFL talent. That's why he plummeted in the draft and very well may have gone undrafted if the Browns owner didn't step in and tell the football people to get him those press clippings.
  20. I think he'll get there in that regard. I actually think the better comp stylistically for T-Mac is Larry Fitzgerald but I didn't want to get the blowback from that comp. LOL I'm not saying T-Mac will be Fitzgerald, I'm just saying they win in similar ways. They're big guys but aren't necessarily physically overpowering. They win with good route running, sneaky speed, and great hands.
  21. I mean, how many QBs currently in the league would've actually been worth what we gave up in that trade? A handful at most. You're banking on this guy being a surefire perennial All-Pro MVP candidate future HOFer. That's an extreme longshot bet in the draft no matter how you slice it.
  22. Especially when you're all in on a guy who has a historic lack of NFL measurables. The comps out there for Bryce are non-existent. I've never seen the entire football world so collectively completely overlook a total lack of measurables like that before. Usually draft prospects get nitpicked to death to the point of absurdity but with Bryce it was everyone coming up with mental gymnastics as to why he'll be able to totally overcome it.
  23. This is the thought process from Browns ownership that brought Shedeur to Cleveland. Is everyone just going to willfully continue to ignore that Shedeur looked completely awful except against our camp bodies? He didn't do anything in that game until we pulled all of our starters and primary backups and he didn't do anything in any of his other appearances.
