Meh. Love Cam, but he deserves the ribbing that is coming his way for choosing to be unvaccinated.

Oh, that was pretty clear the moment they drafted a 1st round QB.

It also highlights the liability of being unvaccinated in the NFL right now. Had Cam not had that recent COVID "misunderstanding" he's probably the week one starter. Instead, the Pats got a glimpse into the future of what having a QB unvaccinated this season is going to lead to and decided to clarify their QB situation. I don't blame them. It's hard to find a bigger Cam fan than me but this is 100% his fault.

You don't want to play FB these days. Very few teams carry a dedicated FB. And honestly, I don't think it's completely due to the new spread offenses. I think coaches and front offices are just waking up to the reality that FBs are those guys who they had previously found a spot for that hard-nosed hard working guy who just wasn't athletic enough to play RB, LB, or TE. A blocking TE can easily sub into that FB spot on plays that require it.

The Pats seemed very frustrated about the COVID "misunderstanding". Cam has made his own bed with that one.

No idea how he earned it. In their preseason game against us he looked exactly like the same scrub who cost us the #3 overall pick.

Ineffectively though. Sure, he's willing to throw the ball down the field but very few end up as completions. I'm not crying over Grier being cut. He isn't very good. But honestly he out-played PJ by a considerable margin this preseason.

It's possible, but they'll be looking more at his overall offensive design than the execution. Teams weren't exactly beating down the Jets' door for Sam Darnold.

Well, I think this "discussion" had pretty much ran its course at this point.

I just despise crowds and cities in general. No use for them personally. Being within a few hours for the occasional trip to a game or museum or the like is plenty good enough for me. I sure wouldn't want to live in a major metro area.

The going is gonna get tough at some point and the ones that aren't cut out for it will crack when it does. If a guy isn't ready from a grasp of the offense standpoint then there's no reason to put him out there but if he has the offense down and is ready to go from a preparation standpoint then I don't think you do him any good sitting him.

I'm kinda of the opinion that if they crack and fold it was gonna happen anyway. You're either mentally cut out for this league or you're not.
