In other QB trade news, Adam Shefter is now reporting conclusively what was widely rumored back when the Niners traded for #3 - they made the move for Mac Jones. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32192632/sources-san-francisco-49ers-trade-no-3-draft-pick-spurred-concern-new-england-patriots-moving-mac-jones That look of deep concern Shanahan had on his face at Mac Jones' pro day makes a lot of sense assuming this is correct. Uh oh. This ain't that guy.

Detroit finally got one right after terribly botching the Barry Sanders and Megatron situations. Stafford was a good QB for them who they failed to build a team around. He wanted out and they were willing to sign off on sending him where he wanted to go as long as the trade compensation was in the ballpark of other offers. Good in them. Finally.

It's not just my opinion. There was a House investigation. They pretty much agreed. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2020/10/06/amazon-apple-facebook-google-congress/

Daniels looked like the only think holding UGA back from competing for a championship this year against Clemson.

I think my point has been proven and the inevitable racism bash is in full swing. We have a game in less than 24 hours. Now out of the Panthers forum with the non-Panthers topic.

I wouldn't at all expect it to be included with basic Prime membership. At some point, we're going to have to return to our early 20th century trust busting ways on Amazon.

When I give y'all what you wanted and it turns out exactly like I said it would, yeah I'm gonna rub your nose in it a bit.

When that truth sinks in...

Oh, I'm letting him. I told folks not to bother reporting the posts we all knew would be coming if I moved this thread back to the main forum. Now the reports are coming in.
-
You're just trolling and spewing hate. Just like I knew would happen because we've seen this play out hundreds of times. But for some reason some posters expected it to go differently this time.
-
Congrats @NAS and others. This is what you asked for.
-
Yeah, I'm not super optimistic right now but that's a wholly unreasonably pessimistic take.

I tried to move this thread to the lounge where it would be away from the prying eyes of the trolls and you complained about that. You don't want the trolls to be ignored. You want this poo show. Enjoy it. You asked for it.

The Athletic looks at Darnold and Wentz

I hope Rhule is the answer. I hope Darnold is the answer. But I definitely have my doubts. Considerably more about the latter than the former. -

I think if you can't get excited about that season you're never gonna get excited. -
This place will be the hottest mess it's ever been if we lose this game. The sky will fall through the floor.

Say what? You didn't feel good in 2015 when we were headed to the Super Bowl with a young MVP QB and a great defense? This is just a bizarre comment. -

I would rather have traded what we did for Darnold than what they did for Wentz. Wentz looks shot. Darnold looks mentally frazzled. You can't fix shot. Maybe we can and maybe we can't fix frazzled but I'd rather have Darnold at his age, trade compensation, and financial commitment than Wentz at his age, trade compensation, and financial commitment. No doubt about it. If they're both mistakes, our mistake stings a lot less. -
Right now, Tom Brady is way ahead in the "was it more Belichick or was it more Brady" debate. His lead would be probably be insurmountable if he puts together another good season without Bill and Bill flounders again.
