    Was the offense better last year with a more physically limited QB who was less turnover prone? Yes or no? This is the play calling of a staff that has utterly lost confidence in their QB. We're simply trying to keep Darnold from losing the game and hoping our D gives us an opportunity to win it. It is what it is. You just don't wanna see what it is.

    Our offense looked a lot better last year with a QB who was much more physically limited but who didn't have such a penchant for throwing it to defenders. That's the part you're looking past.

    We're terrified of Darnold holding the ball. Terrible things happen when he does. We're trying to force him to make quick reads and get rid of it. It's not working.
