  1. Why are they not helping this RT??? This is full Mike Shula.
  2. It was a fumble. The Raiders just recovered it despite the Chargers being all over it. This RT is reminiscent of Remmers in SB50. Just getting wrecked.
  3. Honestly, you're probably right. Rhule is already saying they're going to talk to a LOT of candidates. Would anyone be shocked if they talk to a bunch of candidates then he names his buddy Nixon the permanent OC?
  4. He got the job with platitudes and he's going to keep the job with platitudes. He got the job saying he was going to change the culture. Create a winning culture. Culture, culture, culture. He's going to keep the job by saying we have to run the ball. We have to stop the run. Football is won in the trenches. Run, run, trenches, tough. Tepper is too dumb in football terms to see through it. I wish he'd hire someone to run the football operations and go back to running his hedge fund.
  5. So fuging stupid. Tepper has to pull the plug on this bum.
  6. Whatever he did, it worked 1000%
  7. Oh wow. HUGE penalty on a totally uncatchable ball and honestly looked like a flop anyway. Raiders basically gifted a TD.
  8. Look at our offense. It's trash.
  9. None. He was an assistant OL coach in his one NFL season, but just look at this OL.
  10. I was terrified of Herbert as a prospect because of how he was used at Oregon, but damn I love watching this guy play. Sure wished we could've drafted him. I would've happily eat my crow with a poo eating grin.
  11. Betas who think they're alphas usually really dislike true alphas.
  12. I'm keenly aware that everyone is laughing at us so you'll have to excuse me for not being in much of a mood to laugh at others
  13. If there was any chance that Tepper was gonna still fire Rhule, that should seal the deal.
  14. Yep. Look, we're all ignorant when it comes to the entirety of human knowledge. We live in a very specialized society. Your scope of knowledge of everything is going to be pretty narrow. There's no shame in not having the knowledge to build a good NFL football organization. I almost certainly couldn't either. The smart folks are willing to admit what they don't know and seek out the folks who can help them out there. I can do a lot around the house, but if we're fuging around with an electrical issue involving busting into the main panel, trust and believe I'm breaking down and calling a licensed electrician for that one.
  15. Well, maybe he's seeing that he was the dumbass in that scenario. It happens. We're all dumbasses occasionally. What separates the dyed in the wool dumbasses from the occasional dumbasses is largely the ability to recognize when you were being a dumbass.
  16. Yep. Brilliant in finance doesn't automatically mean brilliant in football. Colbert is only 65. Tepper is 64. Colbert has already announced he's retiring after the draft. Unless it's due to health or family reasons, convince him to come fix this mess and mentor a heir apparent. Pay him whatever he wants. What's it to you? You're worth billions. Tens of millions are a rounding error. You say you want to build a winner. You say mediocrity isn't acceptable. Prove it. Right now, we need considerable improvement to get back to mediocrity. Marinate on that.
  17. Tepper, please step away from the football operations. Offer Kevin Colbert a blank check to run the football operations and you just play Monopoly money with the business side of the house.
  18. I agree that a change of philosophy is needed. It's just bigger than OC.
  19. It sucks the Dolphins have been eliminated from the playoffs because no one would want to play this team right now. Gotta be the most dramatic season turnaround I've ever seen.
  20. You kinda hit the nail in the head here, you're just too dense to see it. Rookie. 11th year NFL vet. Not exactly an apples vs. apples comparison. You think the Jags are ready to throw in the towel on Lawrence because he struggled mightily for the majority of the season?
